3. My name is meera.

Jai and Amar never believed in supernatural things they always went into the most Haunted places they could find. But Amar was a sincere student he never didi anything out of proportion but Jai was just the opposite.

On July 2007 they got admission in the best college of their state. And they found out that there were ruins right behind the building of the hostel that was provided to students by the college. But it was strictly prohibited to go there as it was believed that some supernatural power was there. Jai jumped up with joy

" I'm gonna go there right away" he said.

" No, you can't it's restricted. You will get resticated." Amar replied coolly.

" No one will know I will go there tomorrow."

Amar sighed and refused to join him. The very next day in the afternoon when all was silent Jai went to the ruins. When he tried to open the lock it easily got unlocked and he swiftly entered it. Everything was dark and in ruins he searched for an hour but didn't find a single thing except a wall on which something was inscripted. He tried to figure it out but all he could read was - MEERA 1862.

He turned back and went out of the ruins back to his room. Everything went as usual one day he found a beautiful girl in his class and went to talk to her.

"Hi! My name is Jai. You are?"

The girl smiled at him and said " Meera"

"Meera.... I think I have heard it"

" Don't u want to know my dob?"

"huh?" Jai was genuinely confused.

"Meera 1862" She said and went away.

Jai was baffled he tried to figure out the whole thing. After the classes he told everything to Amar his other friends and seniors and asked if they have seen her.

But than he got to know that there was no girl named meera in their whole college. Jai was scared and confined to Amar who laughed it away.

" You are imagining things. Just sleep all will be well" Jai thought the same and went to his room. He was unable to sleep so he went to the balcony. When he was leaning on the balcony he realised that someone was standing right beside him. He turned with a jerk and saw the same girl..

" What happened you weren't looking for me?" she said with a twisted smile when her head fell and came into her hand.

Jai ran to the tried to open it, break it, push it but it didn't happen. He shouted screamed loudly but no one came. When a hand reached his neck and twisted him about. He started to cry "please leave me what do you want?"

" They didn't leave me when I begged in the same way. They called my name over and over again just to hurt me rape me and molest me. You broke my lock unblocked my ties. Thank you"

" But what have I done please leave me"

" You took my name.....

The next morning Amar decided to check on Jai and went to his room. He knocked on it and tried to open it himself. He called him several times but he didn't pick up. So, he waited till afternoon but when he didn't come out he called the security. Principal was called and finally they broke the door. And Amar saw what he never wanted to see. Jai's corpse it looked like he stabbed himself. Amar saw a note hanging out of his pocket It was torn and looked like it was written in hurry.

" Never take her name"

Two years passed and Amar was the senior now. He was no more a newbie and forgot almost everything about it. He was registering students for the drama club .

" Next"

"Yes sir"

"Name?"

"Meera"

"Meera okay dob?" he said as he jotted down.

"1862."

"1862? he was shocked but when he looked up he saw a student saying " not 1862 brother 1994"

He looked down and even in the students name he saw Vicky. He sighed in relief and went back to work.

The next morning a junior came to his room. He knocked and tried to open it but failed when he didn't show up till evening the junior called the workers. Soon, the lock was broken up. When they looked inside they saw Amar hanging from the fan and Meera was written on the walls with a red paint....

The case was closed as the police and court assumed that it was suicide in love..
