Rayan had never seen land so utterly still. The dunes gave way to smooth, black stone that stretched endlessly, reflecting the dull shimmer of the twin moons. There was no wind, no sound, not even the faint hum of the world’s Breath that always filled the air.

As he spoke, the chamber trembled — the flames flickered black for a heartbeat.

For a brief instant, the surface of the monolith reflected a pair of glowing violet eyes — identical to Rayan’s.

Rayan nodded, determination solidifying in his eyes.
> “Then I’ll face both. Light and shadow — if that’s what it takes.”
And as the twin moons of Ecliptera sank behind the horizon, the Seventh Light began its journey — toward the next Beacon, deep within the Oceans of Prithon, where even Resonance itself dared not breathe.
