I think i like how it's realistic because people often forget that amnesia means forgetting a lot of things, some which are even categorized under "common sense", like you'll forget the simple things in general life too. although I don't have much general awareness about amnesia, little things like these actually show how amnesia affects lives. a character that gets amnesia but proceeds to completely blend back to life immediately is just not believable y'know. like that kinda makes it clear that the person is just using for the plot
