First Day

At the entrance of the school was prestigious name of the school. Along with Nova others had also just arrived. She looked at them and sure saw Aria among those people. The weather is hot and so is this lady's temper. Her red expression and puffy cheeks clearly express her strong resentment towards Nova. Nova rolled her eyes internally.

The weather is extremely hot. Nova is wearing a light blue oversized shirt and a tight navy jean. Of course, the shirt is oversized because it is her grandpa's and has nothing to do with fashion. She is already feeling stuffy and unbuttons her top two buttons of her shirt. The uniform is not mandatory for the first day at the institution. It is pretty good, but the weather is very hot, it is showing signs of early summer, and it isn't even a proper summer yet. But more than anything else she felt jealous over these ladies. Just few steps ahead of her are group of excited ladies. They have worn cap and have fan in their hands. Nova cannot express how she is supposed to feel at this. Those short little skirts are lot better. A lot better than her tight jeans. 

She didn't even bother to look at these girls again and head behind them thinking nothing but to enter somewhere cool. Nova was never a person who cared about others anyways. 

The blazing sun and hot air slapping at their cheeks as they entered the gate. Just after stepping inside everyone was stunned seeing a row of students lining in front of them with a serious expression. They were all boys and also... every one of them are extremely handsome. The uniform which is in regal indigo made them look so noble too. The girls who were frowning before instantly forgot about the heat. Even the guys were stunned at the same place. Nova among them was an abnormal person whose reaction worsened immediately. She really doesn't give a damn about these pretty faces before her. All she cares about is the cool shed few steps ahead of her.

The man at the forefront walked to them and said, "You all are the new students of this year right. We are told to guide you all to the representatives of our instutute, let's go in."

Nova eased her frown a bit. 

The guys led them in, but a weird event occurred here after. These guys are extremely weird in Nova's eyes. Everyone immediately approached each one and started to strike conversation.

"Miss, what is your name?"

"Nova."

"You are very young, I was extremely shocked seeing you at first!"

"...."

"Do you think you can share your phone number?"

"No."

" Are you sure, you don't want to treat me, even as your brother?"

......It went on.........

By the time they came across the inner hall, Nova's face was all cold like the glacier of north. Frozen Utterly Frozen. 

"Hey-"

"I don't like to talk." Nova interjected coldly.

The guy stood their stunned and his expression turned blank slowly. The people around the two of them also shocked with her sudden cold tone. The guy slowly laughed awkwardly, but Nova remained expressionlessly cold. 

The leader saw the situation and came to explain finally, "Young girl don't be angry. This is how we get close as junior and seniors here."

Nova didn't bother to argue and just nodded. She looked away. 

The leader froze between them awkwardly. The other girls and boys were getting along very well. Nova was the only exception. The other students, new and old are all looking at them from time to time. It might be awkward for other guy, but Nova explained patiently after thinking about it for a while, "I don't like to make friends, but thank you."

Her voice was clear like the cold stream of water. 

Actually, this person is the first to ever be so persistent on talking with her in her small life till now. Others if counted they were Aria and her groups, trying to find a way to fight with her. Her grandpa was the only one, be as family or friend. So yeah, for Nova this person before her is the only normal person to ever approach her with an intention of friendship. 

She explained like a very well-behaved child which left most people stunned. Those behind them were a bit frozen. But they get over it quickly.

The guy saw the extremely beautiful and young girl explaining cutely, with her blank expression, even the bit of awkward anger or frustration in his heart from before disappeared instantly. He waved hurriedly, "It's okay, you looked just like my younger sister. It's okay if you don't like to make friends, treat me as your brother if you can." He added as his heart felt light, "Come and find me when you have anything to ask. My name is Simon Elwood. I'm in second year."

Nova nodded in silence.

Seeing the dispute resolve the leader hurriedly led the new group in the grand hall. 

The new students entered, and the senior guys were left outside. Just as the door closed the seemingly calm men almost erupted in shout.

"Damn! She is so cute!!!!" 

"Correct! And too young!"

"She must be around twelve or something."

"She might be the youngest student maybe?"

"No, you forgot about someone."

"Oh right."

"He is a senior now anyways. He was twelve two years ago."

"This young lass is pretty interesting. I was stunned when she got angry at you."

"But too cold."

"Does it even matter? In my eyes, the new goddess has emerged!" 

"Right! Let's go and spread this news. Our O High actually has someone who can counter the opposite Star High School's Goddess!!"

They left hurriedly and vanished in a blink of an eye. 

Inside the grand hall, everything was very cold and silent. Nova immediately felt comfortable.

The young men and women looked piercingly at them. 

It was kind of uninterested stare. Everyone felt a bit ridiculous. Since it must be common for them to receive students like them from slums. Since they are from that place, it is not surprising to receive such cold treatment. However, they were feeling pretty proud before coming here. Now everything is on the floor. Like being naked before the public.

The man probably in mid-twenties, threw all the I-cards on the desk, "Here are your I-Cards for the upcoming six-month's time. You might be needed to be reminded of the fact that, you are given one chance to prove yourself. In the upcoming test, you people need to win against the ten of the senior students who will challenge each of you all."

The man slowly added, "It is your capability which will lead how you stay here. I might also remind you guys when you all are assembled here. Any failure from your part can expel you all back from where you come from."

The lady beside him nodded, "You all will attend the classes from next week. Before this get used to the environment here. Thats all I need to tell you."

The students stayed stunned and numb. They remain like stunned penguins for a while, when no one took a step forward, Nova moved and took her I-Card and left saying her thanks. 

Everyone spun their neck to the source of the sound and the breath in the room halted for a moment. It was unknown who came back to their senses first, but Nova didn't look back and headed towards her dorm room that is located at the east side of the entire campus. There is no need to fluster about the direction as the big signboard over these buildings are extremely eye-catching. Although it might appear a bit weird but here there is no distinct buildings of dorm for men and women. They all share a same building. 

Nova hurriedly located her dorm room with a black bag pack on her back to her dorm room. She checked her room number again and entered. The room was enough for a small family to live. Its every facility top notch. Nova unpacked her small bag pack and set the two sets of clothes on the closet. Afte taking her practice clothes she went to take the shower. The heat outside had her sweating like buckets.

While she was so busy, the entire O High was in chaos. 

The news has been on fire that the school's hottest guy of Star High is here to challenge the new ice beauty of O High. Though none of the people had seen him. The entire school's online podium is on hot discussion. The O High is even more surprise on getting to meet the new beauty suddenly. It's saddening though that no one saw Nova anywhere. 

"Hey, did you see her?"

"Nope. In my opinion, she must be hiding somewhere since she knows the trouble she has attracted."

"I even doubt if she is really that beautiful, though."

"Really right! I also think how it is even possible for a girl of only twelve years to actually beat our school's hot lady of Saphire family."

"Yep! The age difference is already deathly. I can't imagine a girl so beautiful at age of just twelve years old."

"Well, what if she really is that beautiful?"

"Beauty won't matter if she were to be bitten death by her opponent."

............The comments flooded..........

At the same time the training stage of O High boasted in thunderous roar.

Nova went to the counter and registered her name in the fighting arena. The person on the counter said slowly, "Are you the new girl named Nova?" His eyes wide as he looked at Nova without even blinking.

Nova frowned and didn't reply. 

The man noticed her dark expression and didn't continue. He can feel the oppressive air around her.

Nova immediately knew how they got to know her. After all she fought with her senior at the way here in front of all other people. Moreover, it would be shocking if Aria and others didn't partake in this.  

Nova entered the stage after the loser of the match left the stage. As she entered the man standing there laughed and said, "Young girl, you don't want that face of yours anymore?"

"What is your age? Did you arrive here accidentally?"

"Someone! Take this kid out of here."

The crowd surrounding the stage laughed and the man again added, "You must be new here. Let me introduce myself. I'm-"

Suddenly the man's expression turns rigid as he retreated hurriedly while Nova released successive moves. In few minutes dozens of moves were exchanged between the two. The crowd shouted in extreme excitement.

Nova whom about everyone was talking, actually came to the training center of O High. She has worn black top and black shorts, perfect for fighting. She was fighting a senior by two years. Her eyes too cold. Maybe it is because the fighting is too intense but by the end of the match the guy was beaten down brutally. Her eyes were extremely bloodthirsty. The crowd below looked stunned before screaming, and they click her pics and shared it online.

Her mind was filled with images of that day. the day when she lost her mother. It was like the whole world went cold that summer. But her surrounding was same as here. Everywhere people were screaming. Her eyes dimmed and it was like, her cheerful heart died that day. The guy before her, might also be like her mother, right? She thought and let go of him. 

From the day Marrick trained her, it's as if her body is producing shocking strength. It is very weird though...

The crowd below shook in shock. The howls and discussions loud but it didn't enter Nova's ears at all.  

Her moves agile and appeared very casual, even lazy. But the power behind her every move was extremely shocking. The man retreated the stage immediately. Nova though remained in it. Just when someone was about to enter the stage the hall door was opened very casually. 

There appeared three men. They were extremely tall and good-looking. But perhaps the front one was a nymph, he was like myriad. A beauty which is rare even in heavens maybe. His lean figure and pale porcelain skin like marbles. His hair light brown. It appeared soft and smooth while in curls. He looked up at the crowd and precisely locked his eyes on Nova.

While everyone was drawn in this man whose appearance is threatening like atomic bomb, Nova swiftly picked her bag and got passed through them as no one came to the stage.

The two other guys were also very handsome, but both paled in comparison to the middle one, the one at the left threw a sunny smile stopped Nova who was few steps behind them, "Hey wait."

Nova glanced back and raised her brows.

The man still smiling said, "My brother wants to challenge you."

Nova looked at the time on her phone and replied, "No."

"Why?" The man asked in shock.

Nova squeezed her patients and replied, "Study time. Have to go to library."

She had to go to other places to do her registration after taking that shower. It was just for few fights that she came here. But the first fight took more time and after that no one came on the stage. 

The reply was so short and cold but with her appearance it appeared a bit too cute. The man, like divine nymph raised his brows and turned to look at the small girl before him. Both of them are too young. He appears about fourteen and she is twelve. But maybe it is because of his beauty or even tall height, he appeared mature and even elder. 

Nova stood there with no expression at all. She isn't his fan or even from one of his silent admirers. She is just acting like a passerby. A kind of whom no one will take notice of. But the young boy didn't forget the match he saw just now from the top floor. It was amazing. She appeared like a machine, emotionless but deathly. However, it wasn't this what attracted him, it was those eyes. It appeared a bit like his own. 

"Tomorrow." He uttered a single word in the pin drop silent hall. His voice clear and young but carried a strange stillness like the world held its breath when he spoke. 

Nova noticed that the presence of this man is extremely powerful. These people around her didn't scream at all like before. She took another look at him and looked down as she replied, "After class, at three."

The boy before her nodded and said, "Go on. Library will be packed by a lot of people."

Nova nodded and left. The people behind her were in silence but not in their heart. It appeared like they are almost becoming a statue, but no one dare to move or say anything. It wasn't until the three of them left that the crowd behind them gaped and talked in whisper. 

It was very likely that tomorrow morning a new news will spread that of Nova and about the nymph. Nova after felling on her bed frowned thinking about it. She will wrap the things with that nymph tomorrow. She slept peacefully.

Although the people around her were not at all peaceful.
