Morning sunlight streamed into the Sidha mansion's dining room, where Neha and Siddharth sat discussing her father over breakfast.
"I mean, he's still my dad, right?" Neha asked, her voice laced with uncertainty.
Siddharth's expression turned somber. "Remember what they did to us? They left us all alone to suffer. Neha, we're all we have for each other, alright?" He reached out and pulled her into a hug before leaving.
Neha nodded, watching him go.
Meanwhile, Kavya's voiceover reflected on the previous night's events. "So, after the incident last night, I think I'm finally free. But I don't think so." She sat nervously at the dining table with Nisha, Kareena, Anil, and an angry Sara.
Sara's gaze turned cold as she addressed Anil. "Anil, look at what your daughter has become. She can't even greet us properly."
Kavya's eyes dropped, her voice barely above a whisper. "Sorry, Grandma. I forgot." She attempted a greeting, but Sara refused to respond, and the room fell silent.
Nisha broke the tension. "Okay, Aunt, last night I was the one who called Dev on the phone." Kavya tried to signal her to stop, but Nisha continued, "I think we should talk about it, Aunt."
Sara's expression softened slightly. "Actually, Nisha, you reminded me about last night. Kavya, let's talk about it."
Neha arrived at the cafe to meet her father, Vivaan, about his company. "I don't think I can help you, Dad," she said, her voice laced with uncertainty.
Vivaan's face contorted in distress as he grasped her hand. "What? I'm just kidding, Neha. You're my one and only princess. Please, save my empire," he pleaded, his eyes welling up with tears.
Neha's expression softened, and she looked worried and emotional.
Meanwhile, in Nisha's car, Kavya's frustration simmered. "I can't believe you, sister. You just started – or should I say, you woke up – another war."
Nisha's defensive tone was evident. "How was I supposed to know that you disrespected Aunt last night?"
Kavya's eyes widened in surprise. "I didn't disrespect her. I just spoke my mind."
Nisha's response was measured. "I think speaking your mind has gotten you into trouble."
As they arrived at Kavya's school, Kavya's worry was palpable.
In a different setting, Siddharth entered the fan base room at Siddha Company, but before he could meet the executives, he spotted Anika, his mother, approaching. He went to greet her warmly. Anika had been visiting him more often since he left home, and Siddharth appreciated the effort.
In the halls of the acting school, Kavya and her friend Tanya walked together. Kavya was telling Tanya about the previous night. "My sister Nisha thinks I disrespected her," Kavya said.
Tanya, who was chewing gum and texting on her phone, looked up. " I think you did good, Kavya. You're not a kid anymore. You're twenty-two, for goodness' sake," she said.
Kavya nodded emphatically. "Yeah, that's what I'm talking about." As they walked, Kavya was encouraged when she bumped into Rishi.
Rishi was known as the coolest boy on campus, or perhaps the most popular one. Every girl in Hills School dreamed of going on a date with him.
Tanya nervously apologized to Rishi. "Sorry, Rishi." Kavya, however, left in anger, and Rishi left too.
One week ago, in an empty classroom...
Rishi was talking to Kavya about his feelings.
"I would have given you a chance, but I have someone already. Please," Kavya said.
Rishi smiled in anger. "Oh really? That horror boy loser?"
"Stop calling him that," Kavya said.
Rishi retorted, "Kavya, look around. I'm the coolest guy here. Millions of girls are dying to be with me."
Kavya plotted her rejection and left.
