Cousin chaos returns

Hello! This is an extra short  chapie to pass time

DORM ROOM – LATE EVENING

Leo sits on his side of the dorm room, headphones in, typing on his laptop. Calm music plays. Everything on his desk is perfectly aligned.

*Then—*

*BANG!* 

The door flies open. Enter *KLAUS*, wild-haired, carrying snacks, speakers, and somehow already making noise before even speaking.

*KLAUS* 

(with dramatic flair) 

"Did you miss me, Ice Prince?"

Leo doesn’t turn.

*LEO* 

No.

*KLAUS* 

"Cool, because I brought reinforcements."

Klaus dumps a giant bag of chips on Leo’s bed, then puts a speaker down and blasts loud pop music.

*LEO* 

(turns slowly) 

"Turn. That.Fuckin.Speaker. Off."

*KLAUS* 

"You’re allergic to happiness, I swear."

Leo stands up. His aura shifts. Klaus pauses.

*LEO* 

"One more noise. One more mess. You’ll be sleeping in the hallway with your snacks and your nonsense."

Klaus smiles nervously.

*KLAUS* 

"You're scary, you know that? Like... the quiet kind of scary. But fine. I’ll turn it down."

He turns the volume down to a hum and slumps onto his bed.

*KLAUS* 

(confessing quietly) 

"I wasn’t trying to ruin your vibe, Leo. I just— I don't do silence well."

"Leo pauses, then sighs. He pulls out an extra pair of earbuds and throws them to Klaus."

*LEO*

"Put these on, otherwise l will die because of your loud music ".

*KLAUS* 

(laughs) 

Still dramatic, I see.

He starts digging into chips, music still loud. Leo walks over, grabs the speaker, and slams it off.

*LEO* 

"No noise. No crumbs. No chaos. Those are the rules. "

*KLAUS* 

(taken aback) 

"Wow. You sound like a dorm warden."

Leo moves closer, arms folded. Voice calm but deadly.

*LEO* 

"If you're going to live here, Klaus, you follow my rules. Or you find somewhere else to sleep."

*Klaus stands, suddenly serious.*

*KLAUS* 

"You're still mad about what l did when we met , huh?"

Leo doesn't answer. Silence hangs.

*KLAUS* 

"I joked about you being single, and you're giving me stupid rules, okay l will follow them "

*LEO* 

"You didn't joke. You were making fun of me".

Klaus's smile fades. He sits back on the bed.

*KLAUS* 

(sincerely) 

"Okay… that was messed up. I was being loud. Again. I'm sorry."

A pause.

*KLAUS* 

"Look, I know I’m chaotic, but I’m not here to ruin your peace. I just didn’t want to feel like a stranger to you okay ".

Leo studies him, then silently  looked at the extra pair of earbuds he had given Klaus.

*LEO* 

"Use those. Keep your music in your ears. And don’t ever make noise again".

Klaus took them, surprised—and grinning.

*KLAUS*

"You're still my favorite cousin"

*LEO*

"I'm the only one "

*KLAUS*

"Adds more reason to love you "

He said that with a cheeky grin.
