"Mr. Kim, you're the next."
The staff called him and Taehyung silently walked to the small exit that was leading to the stage. He silently watched as the other models came back from the stage and a few gasped when they saw him standing there.
He was wearing a very elegant suit, a white shirt that was embroidered on the collar, and a long slim coat that was perfectly hugging his frame. In white, he was looking like an angel, but only for the audience.
The staff announced behind him and then he entered the stage. His steps were slow and calculated, lips slightly stretched in a smile, eyes lightly turned into the lining of a half moon, cheekbones literally shining under the bright lights of the stage... he did look like an angel.
The audience was surprised and shocked in a good way. They weren't informed about his arrival in the show but his presence did make the show more perfect.
People started clapping for him as he reached the end of the stage and gave a pose, his victory sign pose with a wink.
All were mesmerized, even the sniper on the rooftop of the other building who was watching him through the lens, having the angel on the angle.
Ian/Sniper
🎧"He- he is the target?"
Hacker
🎧Yes. Shoot him on his way back."
Ian squinted his eyes and again watched the model through the lens. The boy looked mesmerizing, beautiful, and handsome to the core.. but there was something else that the sniper wanted to know. He found himself lost as the boy gave a pose with a wink and people around him went numb with their lips stretched in a hurting smile.
The loud cheers continued as the model turned on his heels and waved to the audience.
The sniper kept looking at his target but felt his hands freeze on the rifle.
Hacker
🎧"Damn, Ian! It's time, shoot him you rascal!"
He watched as the model finally reached the other end of the stage from where he entered before, and gave the last wave with a little bow.
Ian/Sniper
🎧"There are heads in the way! I can't shoot!"
He snapped back on the other and watched as the model disappeared behind the curtains.
Ian/Sniper
🎧"Sorry, I lost the target,"
For the person who missed his target for the very first time, he was really calm.
Hacker
🎧"You son of a ____."
Cursed him nonstop as he silently packed his stuff back in the case and got up from the floor.
Ian/Sniper
🎧"Shut up. I'm not talking back doesn't mean I can't! So, just shut the hell up."
Equally angry at his stupidity of leaving his target like that.
Hacker
🎧"Who will deal with him now? He clearly asked for it to be done by today!"
Ian/Sniper
🎧"Not my headache that the crowd was going berserk and started standing out of the blue! He isn't paying us to kill dozens of innocents!"
Hacker
🎧"Don't get me started on this!"
Ian/Sniper
🎧"I'm done, yeah. Talk to you later."
*removed the earpiece from his ear and threw it in his jacket pocket.*
He was sure that he must be being cursed by his mentor and soon, by the dealer as well. It happened for the first time to him, and he, himself was very surprised. Why he felt like not shooting the boy? It wasn't like he was hesitant or felt bad. He didn't even have such feelings for his first kill, then how can he feel so after killing uncountable people?
Ian/Sniper
"I'm so done with myself as well! F*** this sh**."
He spat to no one special and stomped downstairs, his cap was hiding his upper face while the rest was covered with a mask.
Once he was out of the building, he noticed a black Mercedes waiting for someone on the exit of the other building, where the show was still happening.
In curiosity, he stopped for a moment, and soon, someone clad in a black coat and covered face came out of the exit, another boy was beside him. A few reporters quickly tried to approach the boy but the guards stopped them as the boy finally entered the car and the car drove away.
Ian/Sniper
"Maybe, next time."
*scoffed and went to his own car which was parked on a lot, a block away from the building.*
