“M-mom! Please tell me that you are joking! There’s no way I have a soon-to-be husband! I’m not even gay.” I said standing up from my seat. My mom narrowed her eyebrow just like my dad and sighed closing her eyes. “Son, please sit down. I don’t want you to cause a scene.”

I sit without thinking anything and scoffed. “I’m not going to marry him end of discussion.”

My dad looked at me disappointment washed his face as he clear his throat. “You either marry him or you marry Stacy.”

I look at my dad in disbelief. Stacy? As in Stacy Lewis? Gosh no way I’m going to marry that slut. But I think it’s better than to have to be bound with a man for the rest of my life. But I don’t want that girl, I want someone better.

“So?” My father asked.

I took a deep breath and glance at the five people sitting either beside me or in front of me. My eyes catch Dante’s eyes that are staring at me with his lip curved to a smirk.

“I think it’s better to be married to him than that whore.” I said truthfully and pointed out my middle finger to Dante.

“Charles language!” My mom yelled.

I rolled my eyes and gasped as my mom pinch my cheek with her long fingernails. You don’t need to know how hurt that fingernails are.

“Good. Now you’ll be moving with him three days from now, so you can get closer.”

“What?!”

Okay so now I was at my room thinking how messed up my life is. Firstly ladies and gentlemen, I was engaged to a man who I never met before and I didn’t know the reason why I needed to be bound with that person. Secondly, I need to live with my fiancé and lastly, my ex best friend is coming back in a day.

What a wonderful year.

I look up to the ceiling and sigh as deep as I can before I close my eyes letting all the darkness come.

Just as I was about to sleep, my phone rang. “Who?!”

“It’s me Jenny! Gosh you’re so annoying. But anyway, please pick me and Ran up! We’re in XX street near the school café.”

“You really owe me for this.”

“Aye!” Jenny said before she hang up the phone. I brought my body up and took my car keys not bothering to dress up or anything.

I went downstairs and oddly enough, the living room was still bright meaning someone was there. I heard laughing and chattering from my mom. Ignoring it, I went to the door and just I was about to twist the handle, my dad called out.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

“I’m going to pick Jenny up near the school so you guys can sleep fi—” I was unable to finish my sentence when the first thing I saw was the face of my soon-to-be husband. Smirking.

Gosh that damn smirk. It’s sexy. Did I just say that?

“Okay, don’t be late or I lock the door and you’ll sleeping in the yard. ” My dad threatened. “Oh, how about I drive him? I’m going back now.” Dante suggested.

“No thanks. Beside I can drive myself.” I was about to say another thing but my mom cut me off. “Dear, why are you declining? Just let him drive you, he’s your fiancé after all.”

“Fine!” I said grumbling and I heard Dante chuckled before he stood with his smirk still on his face. He said something to my parents something that I can’t hear and bid them a goodbye before he walked towards my way.

Dante looked down at me. “Let’s go.”

“Thank you!! You really are a life saver.” Jenny thanked and pecked me on the lips before she went inside to her house.

I looked at where the dangerous glare was coming from. Of course, it was no other than Dante Salvatore himself. He was glaring, at me actually. He looked kind of mad with his furrowed brows and red ears.

“I’ll drive you back.” He said and grabbed my wrist roughly making me struggle to get his hand off. “Let go! You’re hurting me.”

And you know what he do next, he freaking threw me inside the car like a doll should be. This man doesn’t have manner at all.

Suddenly, Dante grabbed my cheeks and forcing me to look at him which I did. My chest felt tighten as I looked at his

murderous eyes that could kill anything. His thumb found its to my lips where Jenny pecked me earlier and caressed it. Is he by any chance, Jealous? Damn, I wasn’t expecting that.

In spilt of seconds, the next thing I knew was his lips on mine.
