Recovery, third wheel and attraction

Weeks have passed ever since Chris was hit on the head with a metal chair and taken to the hospital where he was treated but was said to be unconscious for a certain period of time. Amaya hasn't skipped a day without checking up on him in order to make sure he's okay and hope for him to wake up soon. On this particular day she was sitting beside Chris who unconscious on the bed. She just watched with guilty and worry as Chris didn't move an inch but looked as frozen as a statue.

She then found herself climbing onto his bed and laying beside him and cried.

Amaya - please wake up [she whispered in a sad tone]

Right then she fell asleep. A few hours later, Chris opened his eyes slowly, looking up at the ceiling wondering where he could be. He then remembered all that took place on Saturday and was about to get up and look for Amaya when he felt his body getting heavy. He turned to look beside him and found that Amaya was laying on his right arm.

Amaya was right beside him, which made him relieved and happy to give out a smile. He then found himself hugging her tightly and kissing her on the forehead. A few minutes passed by and Amaya opened her eyes in shock to find Chris awake.

Amaya - Chris! . You’re awake [she said as she embraced him in a hug]

She then pulled away and was about to call the doctors when Chris pulled her back.

Amaya - I have to go call the doctors

Chris - I'm fine , okay . Can't u just ,ay with me for a little while.

Amaya was hesitant but ended up staying with him.

A day after Chris was discharged from the hospital , he was taken back to his mansion and when he arrived everyone of his servants, guards and more were waiting patiently for him.

...As he walked into the mansion every one greeted him with respect as Amaya followed from behind. Later on Amaya brought break fast for Chris ...

But found him looking at business files. She then put on the table beside him.

Amaya - Sir I don't think it's great for you to start working now.

Chris - why ?

Amaya - well the doctor did say you still need rest and should not focus on work for now as it may put a lot of pressure on your brain and body.

Chris - Then what do you want me to do, I can't possibly just stay while my business is without its CEO

Amaya - sir, the business is going great there people taking care of it and managing it properly.

Chris - huh...[sigh] . Okay, then I'll rest. You can go and thanks for breakfast.

Amaya then walked out surprised.

Amaya - ( did... He just thanks me, and he... Actually took my suggestion and didn't complain. Maybe that guy really did hit him hard on the head. Well this is not bad)

A month passed by and Chris had gone back to work after fully recovering. Amaya was called to Chris's office in the company.

Amaya- yes sir, you asked for me

Chris - we need to make some changes

Amaya- in what, the business?

Chris - no... Between us[ he said as he looked her straight into her eyes]

Amaya- us ?

Chris- yes, from tomorrow you will be sleeping in room.

Amaya was stunned by his sudden words.

Amaya - you mean we should sleep in the same room.

Chris - yes

Amaya - but why ?

Chris - Cause ur my personal assistant and I need you close to me.

Amaya - but -

Chris - no buts, I'm your boss and you know I don't like being disobeyed. [e said I. A deadly tone,, and look ]

Amaya-....

Amaya just kept quiet and was told to go back to her work desk. Some colleagues were staring as she stood up later on and went to the canteen.

Lisa - Hey Abigale

Abigale - yeah

Lisa - Don't you think Amaya is lucky to be Mr Chris's personal assistant and also live in his big mansion

Abigale - well yeah, but do remember that Mr Chris is a cold guy and I don't even think he knows what love is.

Lisa - well these days he's not so bad. What if Amaya might have had a small effect on him.

Abigale - well, your not wrong though. Maybe something might eventually happen between them.

Lisa - yeah

One of the colleagues who was passing by then heard what they were saying about Chris and Amaya.

Kate - wait, what do you mean by something happening between them. Chris cannot fall for a low life girl like Amaya. It's impossible.

Lisa - And what, you think ur better. Oh please just look at you'reself. I don't think Chris even remembers that a thing like you exists in this world.

Abigale - yeah, even Amaya is better than you in every aspect.

Kate - Whatever I don't care what you guys think. But I will tell you one thing, that Chris will be mine.

Lisa - F*** off

Kate then stormed out. One day Amaya was taking a shower at Chris's room with the thought that he is still out she came out of the bathroom with her body wrapped by a towel and her hair wet, but she was startled to find Chris sitting on the bed while taking off his shoe. They then locked eyes for a moment until they realized what is happening. Amaya then ran back into the bathroom blushing while Chris just sat there a little red.

Chris had always been attracted to Amaya for a long time now but couldn't understand why he was..e tried avoiding it and holding himself but every little thing that Amaya did was as if she was asking for like when she sometimes wears a little tight clothes to work, it was as if she was secretly seducing him, but she just says that it's to look more professional. He had now decided to try something with her tonight and see how she will react then maybe he may understand what he's feeling.

This is where it all starts but remember not everything is easy to gain or is clearly under, so please keep up with me until the story ends. More characters are starting to get involved even one of the LGBTQ character is showing up very soon so stay tuned.
