chapter-2 the pride Purifier ( ryan)

Loud steps echoed through the hallway leather sole against the polished floor of FBI berou .

A man walked with purpose wearing crisp suit, two disposable coffee cups in hand . His brown eyes calm yet sharp, his face chiseled ,his fuller lips into curled into curt smile. All an all he is handsome yet dangerous to cross SSA RYAN JONES.

"Hello Ryan"  Said DR NATE My college from forensics .

"Hello" I replied and We begin walking together.

" So any new Discovery on the case "I asked.

"  You mean THE PRIDE PURIFIER CASE? " She countered

"Yes, God I hate that name"  I sighed.

We turned the corner and entered the office.

Their buried in crime sence's photos sat SARAH Williams- my partner and the woman I'd be trying to charm without any success.

She was starting at the photographs without blinking.

"What a lovely setup for our coffee date" I muttered sarcastically while handing her the coffee. 

Her black eyes narrowed on me her hairs wrapped in work updo, suit jacket abandoned on her seat, sleeves  rolled upto the elbow . Her syren eyes blood shot  from too many hours staring at the photographs. Her fuller lips adorned with nude lipstick pressed into a flat linea frown making his way onto her beautiful face.

"Thanks" She murmured and  returned back to photos.

"Any clue" I asked.

She shook her head frustration tightening her jaw

" No I have been racking my brain for two days. this person is on a killing spree. We  have found three bodies so far. Same method : tounge chopped out,  iron rod inserted up the rectum, rosemary stuffed in to mouth and cross carved on their face with a pointy weapon possibly knife all while the victims was still alive . Then cutting their throat and leaving them to bleed their way to death. Slowly"

She exhaled "the only thing they have common is all victims were openly gay estranged from their family we don't have any similarity different age, color- no other connection. And main thing how he is selecting his targets. "

" Based on the evidence our killer might be a gay hater or some stuck up in the mud type of person with ancient mentality " nate offered leaning in.

" Or " Sarah added "he himself is a closeted gay someone raised in a toxic family. Maybe he couldn't mustur up the courage to come out  and now he is punishing those who did. Taking out his rage on them for being brave".

Every one hummed at the two possible profiles.

"SSA WILLIAMS and SSA JONES please report to my office" Orders our superior.

We both left Immediately for our superior's cabin.

"So whats the report on THE PRIDE PURIFIER CASE"  He said

" We both are working on it according to evidence .We both have two possible psychological profiles. But we are still struggling to find hard evidence. Their are no fingerprints, no dna, no foot prints, all the things used are local easy to find. " Replied sarah

" I want progress" He snapped "this case has gone public the media calling him THE PRIDE PURIFIER . We are under a lot of pressure from public and higher ups so it's better if you both get me something solid" He said

"yes sir"we both replied in unison.

" You may leave now" . We both left the cabin.

Back to crime board We both are staring at pinned crime photos - three lives, three brutal death.

" Wait" Sarah said "look at that cross,  its the same cross in every picture,but this cross looks different from standard ones" 

I leaned closer "Yes  you are right let's research this cross. See where it might come from"  I said.

" On it"replied sarah already pulling out her laptop.
