Yes, precisely, But in some rare cases of PTA they do remember half of their memories but in most cases it stays permanent, the patient has to create new memories
The both of them were in great shock and disbelief of what has happened, Jin couldn't stop his tears, he was crying so much even Namjoon was tearing up but he had to stay strong at a moment like this
