Seoul was a city that never truly slept. Neon lights painted the night in shades of pink and gold, while the hum of buses, the chatter of late-night street vendors, and the soft notes of music drifting from tiny cafés blended into a melody only the city could compose. In the mornings, sunlight spilled over Han River’s rippling surface, catching on glass towers and quiet alleyways alike — a reminder that in Seoul, dreams could be born anywhere, whether in the shadow of skyscrapers or over steaming bowls of tteokbokki shared at a roadside stall.
It's 7 in the morning there are some middle-aged people going for a walking and youngsters jogging with their ears filled with their favorite song, elderly people sitting in groups and chatting. The chipping of the early morning birds as if to sooth the ears of people in the morning because after morning all these people ear are sounds of traffic.
In the middle of the Seoul city towns medium-sized house there is a young man sleeping without any care to the world or maybe too much tired to face the same life every day. His face glowed under the sunlight he was sleeping oh, so peacefully one would not want to wake him up from his dreamland.
But
What can anyone do when there is something's like alaram in the world.
After two minutes he stirred and hands habitually going towards the small table near his bed and held his phone and swiped the alarm off
He layed there for two more minutes before getting up and going towards the washroom for his morning routine
He stood in front of the mirror and started at himself for few minutes and then took his brush and started to brush his teeth all the while thinking everything and anything and nothing
Soon he finished his shower and went near his cupboard (yes there is no walk in closet or big ass room for clothes and his accessories) the cupboard in which all his dress and next to there is a small row where he hangs his University uniform and ironed clothes
After he put on his dress he opened his table drawer in which he keeps is daily accessories and all he took his specks and watch. He combed his hair and took one last look and went downstairs after taking his bag.
You guys must be wondering why there is no typical mother waking him up softly but his alarm it's because his mother must be doing breakfast before that she may have been with his father drinking coffee and then left to make breakfast, so nobody bothers to wake him up
soon he came downstairs of their RENTED house and saw his uncle aunt and pa and ma also his favourite and idol hyung sitting on the table soon he went there

His father nodded at him and stared him up and down before resuming to his phone

His uncle and aunt also nodded at him
Soon breakfast was served and had started eating .
He heard his father clearing his throat and knew again he would be the subject again he would be compared he sighed internally and thought

It was like stabbing his heart from a spiked knife from which he don't know how to stop or defend he sighed and kept quiet as always its always like this him being compared to everyone is it's his fault that he has no interest in anything not studies he tries really tries, but it's hard to understand, but he tries to memorize it but without understanding it, it's difficult. He also wants to be like his Hyung, but it's not his fault when ever he asked to join any sports his father would say" You just study no need to waste your time in this nonsense "and after, some days he asked to join a swimming the same answer and then karate same answer then once there was audition going on in his school for a small cinema role he wanted to try it, so he called his father to ask it again the very same answer singing class same answer dance class same answer anything other than studies, so he stopped asking because his brain registered that other than studies his father would not allow him to go anywhere so he stopped himself and focused on studies

Soon he finished his breakfast while thinking about all this and saw his hyung also finished and they both bid their bye and went out .

💭I really hate it when uncle compares me to tae he is already depressed but uncle really doesn't care about tae much he always wonders why his uncle is like that with tae while being gentle to others .I tried to always say but stopped by my mother as she tells me it's matter of father and son it's not appropriate to interfere so I always have to just clench my fists and after he donne scolding tae he just consoles tae after that like always.
