After few days to that incident,

The Tuscan sun was beginning to mellow into a soft gold as Ruhi walked down the narrow cobbled street leading to the little cafe.Her earphones were in,music drifting softly into her ears_an old hindi song her mother used to hum on quiet evenings.The world around her faded into background colour and sound.

She wasn't paying attention.

Not to the boy on the bike barreling around the corner too fast.

Not to the shout from across the street.

Not until_

A strong arm yanked her back into a hard chest just in time.

The bicycle flew past,a blue of wheels and panic, missing her by inches.

Her breath caught in her throat,her heart pounding as her earphones slipped free.She looked up from the chest into the eyes of her mysterious savior who still had a firm grip on her waist.

It was him.

Min Yoongi.

His chest was rising and falling with quit urgency,eyes dark and slightly wide from the scare.His hair was a little messier this time.His black shirt unbottoned at the collar,he looked more.....

Human.

Not a tycoon.Not a mystery.Just a man who looked terrified he'd just watched her nearly get hurt.

"Are you ok?" he asked, voice low but sharp with concern.

Ruhi nodded slowly,still catching her breath.

"I-I didn't see him.I wasn't.."

"Looking",hee finished for her gently, finally releasing her waist.

She followed the warmth of his strong arm,as it slipped away," What are you doing here?".

" I could ask you the same",he said then added," I was on my way to that café. The one near the fountain we met that day".

She blinked," You remembered that?".

He gave a small smile looking slightly down at her due to height difference," I remember strange things".

She let out a breathy laugh, brushing her hair behind her ear."Well, thanks....for saving me".

Yoongi looked at her seriously, voice softer now.

" Don't walk with earphones on in these narrow streets.Things move fast around corners."

She gave a mock salute," Noted,Mr. Lost".

They stood there for a beat too long,his hand still tingling from where it had touched her waist,her heart still thudding against her ribs from the near collision.The town sound slowly returned: The chatter of old men playing cards,bird song above the stone rooftops,the faint clatter of plates from a distant trattoria.

Ruhi tilted her head, studying him.

His Shirt was looser today, sleeves casually rolled ,the top two buttons undone,.He wasn't wearing his blazer,and his hair not styled like the first time they met,but it fell

Little more freely over his forehead.There was something almost.....softer about him today.

She squinted, stepping back a little and crossing her arms with exaggerated suspicion." Anyways",she said,her voice teasing, " are you going on a date?".

He blinked," what?".

"you just...look different from our first encounter." she circled him dramatically, grinning." Less businessman.More..."she looked up at him,lips twitching," mysterious man in a Tuscan romance novel".

He gave her an amused look , trying not to smile." So,now i am a fictional character?".

She shrugged innocently." If the shoe fits.Or the perfectly tailored shirt".

Yoongi chuckled __ a low,surprised sound that made her heart skip in the smallest,most inconvenient way." And what about you,Miss soul?",he said, raising an eyebrow." Walking around with earphones in,humming to yourself.Very main character behaviour."

Ruhi gasped theatrically." I am the main character.Thank you for finally noticing."

They both laughed,the tension breaking like a wave.

After a moment,he nodded towards the cafe at the corner." Walk with me? Perhaps you were also going there.I could use a coffee."

Ruhi smirked" Coffee as in...a reward for rescuing a reckless girl from a death-by-bicycle situation?".

" Exactly ",he said." Hazard pay".

She fell into the step beside him,her smile softening as they walked beneath the terracotta rooftops and hanging flowerpots.

And though neither of them said it out loud,both of them were starting to wonder__

Was this really a coincidence?

Or was Tuscany upto something?
