TRUSTING THE WRONG

'A monster? but ..' I questioned. 'I don't mean the zombies, you see a month ago scientist Snow had created something no one could even imagine creating and it was creating zombies. He did not want to unleash it in the world he even made the antidote, he only wanted to test it. So they put up a notice online who would want to help and one person said yes. The name of the person was Marcus Grace. He seemed kind enough. So the event was to be held on Monday at Fern's Nature Reserve and Museum and everything was going perfect but  Marcus seemed to have his plans. My dad, Chinni, and I were present over there as my dad was a scientist. So Marcus stabbed scientist Snow and killed him and released the infected on himself and the entire world.' Valerie said. 'W-what happened t-to your dad?' I asked and soon enough knew it was the wrong question. Valerie's lower lip trembled as she said 'He was bitten but he wrote this on my palm before he..' She showed her left palm and there was it written in fading blue ball pen:-

Maplesville Mansion near airport tunnel 12.. be safe. the monster is waiting called ma...

'It was fading so we wrote the address in my diary.' she said. I looked out of the window and saw the farm we had stayed in flash by. 'But why are we going to whatever the location you told' I asked puzzled. ' We are going there because scientist Snow told her dad that the antidote is there' Mason replied to the question I had never asked him in the first place. 'But what about that monster whose name we can't say' I asked. 'Well that the dead knows' He once again replied to my annoyance. 'Anyways you never told your name' he said. 'My name is Rain and thank you for helping me' I said genuinely grateful. The van was busy. Valerie was making food. Officer Hoops was out with Mason to find food or kill if necessary, Josh was on watch and well Chinni and I were playing. The child was so clueless about the surroundings she was in that it made my heartbreak to know what kind of future was in front of her. I was shocked to see the kid did have three toys with her. One was an alligator stuff toy, the second was a coloring book with five crayons, and the third was a water bottle. After I was done playing with I put myself to good use, I went to Valerie to help in cooking. She was glad. From the things I could see she was making eggs .' The boys never help in cooking' Valerie sighed as I got the tin plates ready.' Would you put some milk in Chinni's bottle, the carton is kept on top of the jam jar.' she ordered to me. I quickly got to work and gave the bottle to Chinni who made herself sleep on her own. 'Looks like you have a self-caring four years old ' I said surprised. 'I guess she realizes the tension in the world and does not want to trouble anyone.' Valerie smiled sadly.  'Would you mind and go call  Josh, It's my turn on the patrol' she said to me.'Hey! take some rest I want to put myself to some good use, I will take up your post today.' I told her at which she smiled blissfully. I had never in my life seen such a responsible and punctual fourteen-year-old. I made my way out and saw josh reading a novel. 'Hey, what are you reading?' I asked him. 'oh! I just got bored and I had this novel kept by my dad so I just started reading it' He said sadly. I knew it was a topic not to be disturbed so I told him the reason I was there. 'It's my duty now you can go back'. Josh stood up and went inside'. I took his spot there and took out my phone from my phone and started playing an offline game on it.
