Cathy green smiled and gave each of them a gentle kiss on the forehead, warmly promising, "Okay, I will never forget you two."

"Once you settle down over there,you have to bring me and my brother with you. That's what you promised us, and you can't go back on your word!"

Cathy chuckled, her eyes crinkling with joy.

"Alright, alright, I promise I won't break my word."

She hesitated to take the two kids back with her, not only because things were still unstable back home, but also for another reason.

They looked too much like Hank Howard !

But Ethan was practically a miniature version of Hank Howard , and she worried that bringing them back would lead to them being recognized quickly.

With that thought in mind, she gave a few more instructions to the bodyguard who had brought them.

Finally, as the plane was about to take off, she turned and left.

Everyone was busy preparing for the big show tonight.Originally, a small product launch wouldn’t warrant the presence of Hank Howard ,the CEO of the group, but since the brand manager of moonlight was Madeline , things were different.

Madeline had been by Hank Howard side for five years. Although they had no official title, everyone around them undoubtedly viewed her as his girlfriend. With a child that was quite large in size, even though Norman had never acknowledged the child's identity, his attitude toward the boy made it clear that their relationship was deep.

As a result, rumors circulated that the child was their illegitimate son. It was said that the former Mrs. Howard had run off with her lover because of this, leading to her tragic end at sea, where she and her ship met disaster.

As Madeline guided Hank around, she smiled and introduced him to various things. "This time, many major media outlets from both home and abroad are here. The buzz is quite impressive. As soon as the assistant left, Madeline was about to say something else when Howard's phone suddenly rang. He furrowed his brow and said in a low voice, "I need to take this call outside."

"But the press conference..."

Before she could finish her sentence, he had already walked away briskly.

After a while, Chris returned from who knows where, leaning in with a teasing smile. "Madeline , impressive! You managed to get Mr. Howard's, that cold guy, to come all the way from the headquarters. No wonder you're the official girlfriend—666 points for you!"

Madeline shot her a glare. "Stop it! That's not true."

Even though Hank Howard had promised to marry her five years ago, he hadn't mentioned it since. For some reason, he had grown increasingly distant over the past two years. Sometimes, Madeline wondered if he had someone else he liked.

She thought about everyone around him but couldn't figure out who might hold a place in his heart. This left her feeling a bit lost.

After finally getting rid of that troublesome Cathy green, she couldn't let this opportunity slip away at the last moment.

With that thought, she turned to her assistant. "What are you still doing here? Go get back to work!"

The assistant stuck out her tongue and reluctantly left.

Meanwhile, outside the fashion show, Hank Howard answered a call with a blank expression. It was his mother, Elaine, on the line chatting away amidst the sound of clattering mahjong tiles.

"I’m telling you, you need to get serious about you and Madeline . You're thirty-one now; do you think you're still young? If you don't hurry up and get married and have kids, you’ll end up an old bachelor!"

"Sure, Madeline has had relationships before and even had a child with another man, but I’ve seen that kid, and he’s great."

"We're not living in a feudal society anymore, so why worry about preserving some kind of chastity image? Besides, her brother saved your life; marrying her would be good for our Howard family’s reputation."

"You’re a businessman, so I don’t need to explain the benefits to you, right? As long as she can be a good support for you, that’s all that matters!"

Hank Howard replied calmly, "Yeah, I understand."

"Understanding is one thing, but you always just say those three words! You need to take some real action! Ugh, this card is mine... Never mind, I won’t bother you anymore. You’ve made me mess up my game!"

With that, Mrs. Howard hung up the phone.

Hank Howard asn’t surprised and tucked his phone back into his pocket.

Soon, the press conference began.

On stage, models showcased various new designs, while Cathy sat in the back, watching with a detached expression, showing little reaction.It wasn’t until the final showstopper piece came out that her eyes narrowed with interest!
