Burn What You Love (Taekook,Vkook)
Seoul – 11:42 PM.
Rain beat down against the city, thick with the scent of smoke and money.
The hall of Kim Empire Holdings stood silent—except for the rhythmic tap of shoes on marble.
"He's back," said a trembling voice over the phone. "Jeon Jungkook. The son of Jeon Industries. He... he bought out forty percent of our investors in one night."
Taehyung didn’t answer.
His eyes were fixed on the city below, a glass of untouched whiskey in his hand. His suit was dark, crisp, perfect—just like the mask he wore for the world.
"You knew he'd come back," Hoseok said, stepping inside the office. "After everything that happened eight years ago... he's not the same boy anymore, Tae."
Taehyung's voice was a whisper, cold and sharp.
"Let him come. Let him burn."
8 years ago, Jeon Jungkook was the arrogant, reckless heir of the Jeon family.
He humiliated Taehyung publicly—every chance he got. There were fights. Power struggles. Secrets.
But Taehyung always remembered that day.
The day he begged Jungkook to leave something alone.
And Jungkook… laughed. Then ruined it.
Taehyung never forgave him.
Now, Taehyung is 26, the youngest CEO in Seoul. Ruthless. Respected. Feared.
And he’s waiting.
Next Day — Annual Elite Ball
Everyone in black suits and glittering dresses. Money walked on legs here. Lies smiled through painted lips.
"That’s him," someone whispered.
"He’s changed. He’s... dangerous now."
"Still hot though. Look at those eyes."
Taehyung didn’t turn. He didn’t have to.
He could feel him.
The pull.
The hate.
The heat.
Jeon Jungkook, 25 now, walked like he owned the room. Like he never bled. His black eyes locked onto the man in front of the crowd.
Taehyung.
kim taehyung
And he smiled—dark, knowing, slow.
"Hyung," Jungkook said, his voice deeper, slower, soaked in something unspoken.
"Miss me?"
Taehyung didn’t smile. Didn’t blink. Just took a slow sip of his drink.
"Not even in my nightmares."
But his fingers were cold around the glass. His jaw was clenched tight.
He knew Jungkook wasn’t here for peace.
He was here for war.
For him.
"You still hold grudges like a child," Jungkook murmured, stepping closer. The scent of expensive cologne and danger wrapped around him.
"And you still act like you don’t care."
Taehyung’s voice was a blade.
"Touch me, and I’ll break your hands."
Jungkook grinned.
"Promise?"
Later that night — rooftop
"You shouldn’t have come back," Taehyung said, finally alone with him under the stormy sky.
Jungkook leaned on the rail, raindrops running down his jaw like a blessing or a curse.
"You shouldn’t have ignored me when I begged you for forgiveness eight years ago."
"You deserved worse."
"You wanted worse."
Silence.
"Tell me, hyung," Jungkook said, stepping close. "If you hate me so much, why are your hands shaking right now?"
Taehyung slapped him.
Hard.
But Jungkook just laughed. Low. Wild.
And then leaned in, lips near Taehyung’s ear.
"I came back for you. You’ll hate me, hurt me, scream at me. But one day… you’ll break. And you’ll crawl to me. Just like I once did for you."
Taehyung’s throat closed..
