Title: He Doesn’t Know I Know He Knows I Like Him

Episode 4: “Secrets in the Storage Room”

---

Minami hadn’t planned on hiding inside the janitor’s closet at 11:42 a.m. on a Thursday.

And yet… here she was. Squatting beside a mop, clutching her backpack like it was a bomb, and hoping no one found her.

“Okay,” she whispered to herself. “Deep breaths. Not panicking. Just… hiding like a totally normal fake girlfriend being watched by an anonymous locker-stalker.”

It all started with a book.

---

📘 Before the Closet: 3rd Period Library Duty

Minami had volunteered for library cleanup because she liked quiet spaces, dusty books, and not being seen.

But as she was shelving the final history volume, something fell from inside.

A letter. Folded into a perfect triangle. With her name on it.

Not a note—an actual letter.

She hesitated, then unfolded it. Inside were only five words:

> “Meet me where no one looks.”

What was that supposed to mean?

She scanned the room. Empty.

Then she noticed the tiny scrawl on the back corner of the paper:

> East Wing Storage Closet. Don’t tell him. 11:40 a.m.

“Don’t tell who…?”

But she already knew.

---

🚪 Back to the Closet

Minami glanced at her phone. 11:42.

She waited. Every second felt like a year.

Then the doorknob jiggled.

She tensed.

The door opened slowly, and a slim figure slipped inside, pulling the door shut behind them.

In the dim light, she saw:

> Not a teacher.

Not Kaito.

Not Yuka.

But—Ishikawa Ren.

The quiet boy who always wore headphones and barely spoke to anyone.

He looked straight at her, eyes sharp behind his glasses.

“You’re being watched,” he said. “By more than one person.”

Minami stared. “What…?”

“You think the notes are random? They're not. You were chosen.”

> Chosen??

This wasn’t a drama anymore—it was a thriller. A low-budget, emotionally chaotic thriller.

“Why me?” she asked.

Ren hesitated. Then: “Because you’re connected to him. Kaito Riku.”

---

💔 A New Suspicion

The bell rang as Minami stumbled out of the closet, half-dazed.

She didn’t know what to believe anymore.

Ren’s words echoed:

> “He’s not who you think he is.”

What did that mean?

Was Kaito hiding something big?

She rushed back to class, expecting him to be gone—detained by some secret society or exposed as a spy.

Nope.

He was there, spinning a pencil between his fingers and smiling like he hadn’t just become the center of a bizarre conspiracy.

“You okay?” he asked when she slid into her seat. “You were gone for a while.”

She faked a yawn. “Bathroom.”

Kaito raised an eyebrow. “In the east wing?”

Her heart stopped.

She hadn’t told him that.

📱 Later That Night

Minami couldn’t sleep. Her phone buzzed at 11:59 p.m.

Unknown Number:

> He knows where you’ve been. Watch him closely.

She stared at the screen, chills running up her arms.

Who was sending these?

What did they want?

And more importantly…

> What was Kaito hiding?
