A member was going to be bestowed the knighthood to honour his impactful sacrifices and contributions to the welfare of the imperial church and all their projects. The slayers were representatives of the eldritch sect as they travelled out of the ashfall town for a business. After the church dignitaries bestowed their blessings on him, he was offered 🫴 a sword of honour, which he would wield as a weapon to fight for justice.

No one knew that the sword was a cursed object, meaning that it was possessed by a demon. So, as he held the sword downwards to the ground, he started feeling weird. Then, immediately, the demon took over his body as he was screaming. The throng of people seeing this began to run out of the church, seeing 👀 what happened. It was like it was tearing through his flesh to form a humanoid structure within the body.

When he was fully transformed, the demon's growl was so strong and powerful that it could even tear through the massive walls of the imperial church. Seeing 👀 this, the slayers began to attack the demon.

Akuma - Otaku, what rank of demon are we fighting?!

Otaku - This is a lower rank 3 demon, and its demon identity is the gore demon. It possesses sheer force and could bite through anything. It also has enhanced speed, durability, endurance,and good reflexes.

Haruto - How can the lower rank demons look so powerful and terrifying?. Imagine how an upper rank demon would look like or be.

Antidote - Why can't there be any normal demon?

Akuma summoned the shadow stark from his tome armoury, which he used to attack the gore demon. While akuma was attacking the gore demon, bashira was simply shooting it while Otaku used his demon tool, the scythe to slash off one of its grotesque body parts. The gore demon was still countering all their attacks, so akuma had to use another purgatory gate to seal the gore demon but opening the purgatory gate usually drained his energy, but that was his work as a demonologist, to seal demons in purgatory....
