Episode 5: Jeremy POV

Jeremy and Belle went back to class after they finished eating ice cream and some food at the cafeteria.

Belle walks to her sit and looks around.

"Where is Ash? Is she not back yet?".

Jeremy looks around. "I didn't see her either... Maybe she is still at the cafeteria or in the toilet?"

Then Ash walks into class with a new uniform. She already changed her uniform to a new one since Kelly already poured some water earlier that made her uniform wet.

Ash always keeps extra uniform in her locker since she knows Kelly will bother her. Before this Kelly poured a full bucket of dirty water that was used to mop the toilet to Ash. So Ash knew something like that would happen again.

As Ash walked in, Jeremy's eyes were interrupted by the necklace worn by Ash.

"You still wore that necklace?" Belle asked.

"Yes of course! My aunt gave it, pretty right? It reminds me of the ocean."

The necklace that Ash wore was a gift from her aunty, Ms Claire for her 16th birthday. It was the last day Ash saw her.

The necklace shape is like a ring at the outside and the middle was an ocean wave with blue color.

"Yeah, it's pretty Ash." Jeremy interrupted.

Jeremy is still looking at the necklace...

[Flashback]

Jeremy POV:

At the dining table, "Jeremy, tomorrow you go to that school right?" asked Mr Pete, Jeremy's father asked.

"Yes father, tomorrow I will go to school".

"You know why you come here right?"

"Yes I know." answered Jeremy diligently.

Mr Pete is a man with dark hair, brownish eyes with a fit body. His was a very strict man with a grumpy face. He never smiles as Jeremy remembers.

Since childhood, Jeremy and his sibling are very afraid of their father and never dares to talk back to him. Every word and instruction that came from his father's mouth is like a job that has to be done even if you have to die while doing it.

"Father, can I know why you want me to keep an eye on a girl named Ashley Anderson?"

"Nothing, her father and I are acquainted. He asked me to take a look at her daughter."

Mr Pete eyes glowing with red color for a moment.

"I see...ok, I will help you with that." Jeremy continued eating.

What his father didn't know is that Jeremy gained superpower due to the mystery light incident in the afternoon earlier.

He can detect lies when he sees someone's eyes. If the person is lying the person eyes will glow in red. It seems that only Jeremy can see the red light.

Flashback in the Sunday afternoon

Jeremy is in his room, looking at his phone while lying on his bed while his face is facing windows. His searching for Ash Anderson on the website. Her background and family.

Then he saw information about Ash Aunty, Ms Claire Anderson.

"Claire Anderson, born on 13th Oct 1984. Lived in California. Head of Researcher in HC Global Chemical Company. Now her team is in research at Peru for a new plant that can help cure people's disease.hmm...interesting"

As his scroll down for more info, then suddenly a white light appears in the sky.

"What's that?" Jeremy was surprised and wondered at the same time. He goes outside to check. But then, his head hurts so bad that he starts cursing.

"Shit...shit...my head! What the hell!" Jeremy's head feels like it wants to explode. It was the first time Jeremy felt this kind of pain in his life.

Then Jeremy's eyes start to blurred, his vision is worsening...then Jeremy collapses to the ground.
