Alex’s POV:

Aria and I went shopping for her birthday. She dragged me to a bunch of shops and salons along with her. It was a nice day and she looks happy. We were in the car going back home.

Alex: Happy today?

Aria: Yes. Thank you for accompanying me today. I really enjoyed it.

Alex: Good to know you enjoyed my company even though I haven’t done anything.

Aria: Oh you did. You came to all the stores I went in and carried my bags. You came to salon’s with me, got your hair done to my taste so.. yeah.. you did well today.

Alex: As long as you are happy princess.

Aria: But I did most of the talking you know

Alex: Yeah, but I carried all the bags😏

Aria: Thank you Mr.Bodyguard 😝

I drove in silence for a moment.

Alex: What do you want for your birthday?

Aria: Your presence is enough (In somewhat affectionate tone)

Aria: Did you expect something like this as my answer? No way.

Alex: Hahaha 😆😆😆No. I am sincere about this. Whatever you want princess, you will have it for your birthday.

Aria: Really? (a bit suspiciously)

Alex: Really (Sincerely)

Aria: Promise??

Alex: I promise princess. Your birthday gift will be whatever you want or wish for.

Aria: Okay then. Don’t go back on your word later.

Alex: Okay. Now tell me what do you want?

Aria: Hmm…… A wish.

Alex: A wish? (I looked at aria)

Aria: Yes. I want a wish from you as my birthday gift. Whatever it is, you shouldn’t reject it.

Alex: Sure but no to anything that harms you or bad for you. Okay?

Aria: Sure. This is fine by me.

Alex: Good. So what type of wish are you go..

Aria: Watch out!!!!!!!!

Aria shouted, then I saw a vehicle coming straight at as with high speed on the bridge. I couldn’t stop the car in time and had to turn the steering wheel immediately. Our car collided into the bridge’s railing. Aria passed out beside me, I had a head injury, my consciousness a bit blurry.

I stepped out of the car and tried to drag Aria out of the car. But then, about ten what seems like hired men came at me. I took down two but due to my own injuries, I couldn’t handle the rest of them. They beat me and took Aria away right in front of my eyes. I felt so helpless, I couldn’t get the guilt out of me for all these years. Still, I want to protect her so I decided to train in all the ways possible to get even stronger.
