Revenant – The One Who Always Comes Back from the Dead
The night smelled of gasoline and danger.
On the rooftops of Shanghai’s glowing streets, a lone figure crouched. His black tactical suit melted into the shadows. His earpiece crackled.
agent -01
Revenant, the target’s convoy just left the embassy. Two minutes to intercept.
Revenant
Copy.” His voice was calm. Too calm.
He glanced at his wrist device. Red dots—enemy guards—were closing in below. One mistake, and he’d be full of holes.
But Revenant loved mistakes. They made life exciting.
agent -01
Kill Viktor Solov, arms dealer turned fake diplomat.
Steal his encrypted drive.
Leave no witnesses.
Reyn drew a knife from his boot and leapt.
He landed hard on a moving transport truck. Rolling to his feet, he kicked open the driver’s door, yanked the man out, and took the wheel.
Behind him, a convoy of black SUVs roared in pursuit.
Gunfire cracked. Bullets shattered the truck’s mirrors.
agent -01
"Reyn! You’re outnumbered. Fall back! It’s too risky!”
His handler’s voice screamed in his ear.
agent -01
I repeat," You’re outnumbered. Fall back! This isn’t worth it!”
Revenant
"Worth it? The guy’s transporting weapons that’ll wipe out a country. Feels worth it to me.”
One hand on the wheel, he yanked the pin off a grenade with his teeth and tossed it out the window.
BOOM! Two SUVs flipped like toys.
He crashed the truck into the convoy’s lead car, sending sparks and metal flying. Before the wreckage even settled, Revenant was running full tilt through a warehouse—dodging bullets, vaulting over crates.
He spotted Solov’s private chopper spinning up on the rooftop.
Revenant
“Not today.” Reyn muttered.
He raced across a shaking catwalk. It cracked beneath his boots, but he didn’t stop.
At the last second, he leapt—diving into the helicopter cabin which is almost in mid-air.
Viktor Solov turned, startled. His cold blue eyes met Reyn’s grin.
Viktor Solov- weapon dealer
You government dogs. Always chasing after me. Do you know how many agents I’ve buried?
Reyn wiped blood from his cheek , chuckling.
Revenant
Guess I’ll be lucky number whatever then.
Gunfire erupted. Reyn ducked, and fired back. A bullet grazed his arm, but he didn’t flinch. He was bleeding. Bad. But his gaze never wavered.
The two struggled in the cramped cabin. Solov pulled a pistol, but Reyn twisted his wrist, making him drop it.
With a sharp twist of his knife—it was over.
Reyn grabbed the encrypted drive from Solov’s pocket. Blood dripped down his side where a bullet had grazed him earlier.
Revenant
"Mission complete,” he whispered.
The helicopter exploded above as Reyn dived off the roof, rolling across the concrete like a damn action movie. Sparks rained down. The flames lit his figure from behind as he staggered upright.
He dusted himself off. Blood dripping down his temple. Jacket torn. But that smirk? Still intact.
Slowly, dramatically, he raised his hand. Between his fingers glinted the encrypted drive.
His team—watching through drone feed—erupted.
Remy
Holy—he actually pulled it off.
Jiri
Revenant… he really does come back from the dead.
But before their shock could fade… Reyn gifted them one more.
He blinked. Swayed slightly.
Face-first on the rooftop. Motionless.
agent 45
“Wait… wait wait wait—did he just—?!”
Jiri
NO. NOPE. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING
agent -01
SOMEONE GET HIS SUICIDAL ASS BEFORE HE ACTUALLY DIES THIS TIME!.
agent 45
...Wait. IS HE BREATHING?

Calm down, my dear readers 🤗 Our boy isn’t jumping into fantasy land just yet. He’s still busy dodging bullets, fainting like a drama queen, and breaking hearts in the modern world.

This isn’t a sprint—it’s a slow burn. Let him enjoy… before the universe decides to make him suffer a little. 😉
Reyn woke to the sound of arguing.
agent -01
Idiot! You’re lucky to even be alive!
agent -01
Do you think this is an action movie?!
He cracked one eye open to see his teammates pacing like angry parents.
Revenant
"Oh… hey guys. how are you all?!” he murmured with an lazy smirk.
agent -01
HOW ARE WE?! YOU’RE INSANE! You jumped into a HELICOPTER. THAT. WAS. EXPLODING!
Remy
Slamming papers down), “If you wanna die again, I’m not the one who writing the damn report!”
agent 45
Next time you get a death wish—GO ALONE! Don’t drag us with you!
Revenant
“But where’s the fun in that?” he said, propping himself up with a grin.
They all stared at him like they were ready to throttle him.
Destiny always weaves strange tales, doesn’t it? Shall we wait and watch how theirs unfolds?
