"Growing Feet, Growing Distance"

I hope you all are a good
Same town, now middle school students. Innocence remains, but shifts begin.
Kids rush around during recess. Tae, now 12, taller and quieter, draws something in her notebook. Jungkook stands with some boys across the yard, laughing.
Jimin(13)
"Tae! Don't draw hearts again. Last time it was his name."( Playfully)
Tae (13)
"Shut up, jimin. It's just a doodle." (blushing)
Jimin(13)
"Sure..... Just a doodle with curly J's." (smiling)
Tae closes the notebook quickly, hiding a heart drawn with ‘JK’ inside.
The teacher writes on the board. Jungkook sits two rows ahead of Tae. He turns slightly to pass a note to his friend — but doesn’t look back at Tae.
Tae (13)
"He used to share pencils... now not even a glance."(whispers to herself)
Tae sits on a swing, legs dragging in the dirt. Bogum approaches with two strawberry ice creams.
Bogum(16)
"You still like strawberry flavor?"
Tae (13)
"Always." (smiles faintly)
He gives him the cone and sits quietly beside him.
Bogum(16)
"You don’t talk much these days. Not even about him."
Tae (13)
"What’s there to say? He’s growing... just not with me."(softly)
Jungkook sits at his desk. A photo of him and Tae as kids sits on the shelf. He looks at it, expression unreadable. IU knocks softly.

"You haven’t gone out with Tae lately."(gently)
Jungkook(14)
"We’re not kids anymore."(avoids eye contact)
IU
"Growing feet shouldn’t mean growing distance."
Jungkook(14)
"Some things are better far away."(quiet)
He turns the photo frame face down.
Rain falls again. Tae walks under a small umbrella. He pauses at the old tin roof where they once sat together. It’s empty.
Tae (13)
"We used to sit here. When paper boats were enough."(voiceover)
He places a paper boat near the puddle, then turns away.
BOGUM’S ROOM – SAME NIGHT
Bogum stares at the same swing photo from earlier. He opens a journal. On the first page:
“He never saw me. And I never stopped looking.”

"This world’s too loud. His silence was peace. But peace... I can’t afford anymore."(Jungkook's voice, thinking alone)
