Title: My System Can Make Anything For Me Chapter 3: The Underground Kingdom and the Awakening of Power
The scene opens in the crumbling ruins of a post-apocalyptic city. The streets are shattered, the buildings nothing but skeletons of concrete and steel. A group of five humans—two women and three men—run frantically through broken alleyways. Mutant rats with glowing red eyes and twisted bodies chase them, their screeches echoing through the empty city like the cries of death itself.
"If we don't run faster, we'll end up just like our friends!" one man shouts, fear trembling in his voice.
A woman in a tattered blue cloth, Lisa, points ahead. "I saw a hole behind that collapsed building! If we can get under it, those big mutants won't be able to follow."
"Last time someone trusted your directions, one of my friends died," a man in black cloth growls, his distrust clear.
Despite the tension, they have no choice. The ground shakes as monstrous mutant rats draw closer. They dart towards the broken building and dive into the hole Lisa mentioned, sliding into the darkness below.
What they find is an old underground drainage system, but as they move deeper, the space opens into a massive underground cavern. And there, to their horror, lies the "Kingdom of Mutant Rats."
In the middle of the vast underground arena stands a grotesque creature: a three-headed mutant rat—twice the size of a truck—its flesh warped and eyes glowing with malevolence. Beside it, a two-headed mutant rat, the "Queen," devours a pile of lesser mutants.
The five humans freeze, stunned by the sheer terror of what they’ve stumbled into. But before they can retreat, dozens of mutant rats surrounding the King and Queen screech and charge toward them.
"RUN!" Lisa screams.
They fight back with whatever weapons they have—makeshift blades, rusted guns—but it’s hopeless. The mutants are too many, too savage. Just when the end seems near, a strange ripple of energy fills the cavern.
BOOM!
The ground shudders as a figure crashes down—a young man with glowing golden-black eyes and an aura that distorts the very air around him. Rudra Singh Nayak has arrived.
The mutant rats, including the monstrous King and Queen, freeze instantly. Their instincts scream at them to submit. Rudra is no ordinary human—within him pulses the living core of a true alien.
The King mutant snarls, but as Rudra slams his fist into the ground, creating a massive crater with one blow, even the largest mutants lower their heads in submission. Fear, pure and primal, fills the air.
Rudra doesn’t attack them further. Instead, he approaches the five stunned humans, who stare at him with wide, terrified eyes.
Without a word, Rudra picks them up one by one and, in a flash, flies them out of the underground kingdom. He brings them to the same area where his cocoon had once stood—a mystical pond shimmering with alien energy.
He gently drops them beside the water and sends a pulse of glowing energy into the pond. The water sparkles, and the five humans suddenly feel warmth and life filling their veins. Their bodies shine faintly as if touched by something divine.
One girl, still trembling, finds her voice. "Who… what are you?"
Rudra says nothing at first. His red-gold eyes scan them, filled with confusion and calculation. Then he asks softly, "What year is this? What happened to the world? Can you tell me?"
The five look at each other, hesitant and afraid. Finally, one man speaks. "It's been two years since the world ended. Ninety percent of humans have mutated or died. Only scattered shelters remain. We came from one, ten kilometers away, to gather resources. We were being hunted when… when you saved us."
The others remain silent, too overwhelmed to speak. Another girl asks, "Are you human or mutant?"
Rudra looks at his hands, at the black patterns coiled around his veins, and whispers, "I think... I’m something else. I think I’m an alien."
Shock spreads across their faces. Yet despite the terror, there’s a flicker of curiosity.
Rudra gives a small, rare smile. "Don’t worry. I won’t hurt you. But I need answers. And I need to find my family."
Just then, his vision distorts, and a golden holographic screen materializes in front of him:
[ SYSTEM BINDO ]
Name: Rudra Singh Nayak
Age: 20
Race: Alien King / Half-Human
Power Level: 98%
Main Mission: Kill the 946,795 Boss Mutant Monsters, Rebuild Human Society, Save Your Family, Create Mutant Servants
Rudra blinks in shock as he reads. None of the humans around him can see the system interface. "You don't see this?" he asks. They shake their heads.
The system’s message fills him with urgency. "I need to focus," he mutters. "I have power no ordinary human should have. I have to control it."
He escorts the five humans to their shelter. But the shelter’s boss and managers distrust him. Rudra’s overwhelming aura scares them, and they refuse him entry.
Calmly but firmly, Rudra says, "I will protect this shelter from the mutants. In return, you will help me find my family. If you don't…"
The ground trembles slightly as Rudra’s power flares. "If you don't, in one month, I’ll destroy this place myself."
Frightened by his power, the shelter boss agrees.
For two months, Rudra defends the shelter from mutant attacks. Using his strength and his growing control over his abilities, he even tames three powerful boss monsters, ordering them to protect the shelter without harming humans. He instructs them never to eat humans, only hostile mutants, and to defend without question.
Finally, after 23 days, the shelter scouts locate his family.
The news breaks Rudra's heart. His mother and younger brother are dead. Only his father and twin sister have survived, living in another shelter over 450 kilometers away.
The grief nearly crushes him. He weeps openly for the first time since his awakening.
But determination burns anew. He appoints his tamed monsters to guard the shelter and bids farewell to the people he’s saved, including the five humans he first rescued.
With golden-black wings of energy flaring behind him, Rudra soars into the sky, heading toward the distant shelter where his remaining family awaits.
The journey has only just begun.
