Chapter 1: The Lucifer Successor

"The world believes the Devil was cast into Hell.

But what if I told you… he left a successor behind?"

The sky was silent.

The stars above blinked—not out of light, but out of fear.

Time paused again. A classroom stood frozen. Chalk hung in mid-air. A fly hovered inches from a boy’s cheek, unmoving.

And at the center of it all stood him—the boy who was no longer aged.

The one who stopped time.

He wore a school uniform, but he was no child. Not anymore.

He had lived centuries in the cracks between seconds.

He had walked across continents, memorized every human secret, studied every weapon, every system, every soul.

He had become something no god had planned.

To his classmates, he was silent, strange.

To the universe, he was a warning.

His first time-stop had been by accident.

He blinked, and the world froze.

He blinked again, and it returned.

But over time, he began to understand.

Time didn’t just stop for others. It paused completely—light, gravity, sound, heat—everything froze.

Only he remained in motion.

He could walk to another city. Break into vaults. Read every book in the school library in what felt like a breath to the world.

In the real world, it had only been 1 second.

To him, it had been weeks.

He was still 15 on the outside.

But inside...

He had lived for centuries.

It happened during a disaster. An earthquake.

People screamed. Buildings cracked.

A man—kind-looking, older—was about to be crushed by falling debris.

Time stopped.

The boy stepped forward, pushed the man to safety, and walked away.

When he resumed time and looked back, the man was standing—smiling.

"You saved me."

The boy froze.

No one had ever spoken to him during a time-stop.

"You moved… while time was frozen?"

"Of course I did," the man replied. "I created time."

And just like that, the sky above turned black, then silver. The man’s eyes burned gold. His skin glowed like the stars.

He wasn’t human.

"I am what you're once called a god.

And I’ve been watching you, the successor of Lucifer."

"Lucifer was not a villain," the god said. "He was the first to question. The first to rise.

And now… you have risen beyond even him."

The boy, now a young man in spirit, stood tall.

"Then give me what I seek," he said.

"And what is that?"

"immortality"

I want eternal youth. I will always be 21.

My age will freeze. I will not die.

I want to survive anything—even if I am turned into atoms, I will regenerate.

I want to live beyond stars, beyond time, beyond gods."

God narrowed his eyes.

"You understand this is a curse?"

"Yes."

"You’ll outlive every friend. Every world. Every purpose."

"I know."

"You’ll be hunted. Trapped. Feared by the very people you once saved."

"I don’t care."

"You will never die. Even if the universe ends."

"Let it."

The god looked at him with both sorrow and awe.

"Then so be it. You are now… the Lucifer Successor.

Eternal. Immortal. Feared.

And when the last light fades, you will still remain."

As the god vanished into starlight, the world resumed.

Students laughed. The teacher wrote on the board.

But the one at the back—

He was no longer human.

He was the one being that time could not touch.

The one who would rewrite fate itself.

The one who inherited rebellion… and made it eternal.

"My name was once mishifa

Now… I am something else entirely."
