Taehyung didn’t even say goodbye.
He signed the contract, smiled at Jungkook like nothing hurt, and slipped out of the CEO’s office with quiet steps. The hallway was long, glass walls catching his reflection as he walked confident outside, shaking inside.
He just needed fresh air.
Just one moment to breathe

He didn’t need to turn around.
He’d recognize that voice even if he was dead.

Standing at the end of the corridor, holding a folder and wearing an expression like he'd just stepped on something filthy.

People in the hallway stopped moving. Heads began turning.

He tried to laugh it off, but his throat burned. His eyes stung.

His chest tightened. He felt like small. Embarrassed. Alone.

Stepping out of the elevator, sharp in black, jaw clenched.
Everyone moved back instantly, creating a clear path as he walked toward them — not rushed, not loud, just cold.

“Who are you?” ,(Jungkook asked, eyes already on Taehyung — red-eyed, shaken, looking small in the hallway.)

Jungkook stepped forward, putting one hand gently on Taehyung’s back. Taehyung flinched, but didn’t move away.

“You spoke to my omega like he was nothing.” (Jungkook’s voice dropped an octave.) “That’s your last mistake in this building.”
He looked at the rest of the employees standing by.

"What's going on here? Why're you all here, Go to your work right now!!" (Jungkook shouted at all employees.)
Jungkook turned to Taehyung.

“Come with me.”
Taehyung couldn’t even speak. He just nodded, eyes wide and glassy, and followed Jungkook back to the elevator leaving Jiho frozen in the hallway, humiliated.
Behind them, near the corner, A person stood perfectly still.
Clutching her clipboard.
Eyes burning.
She didn’t say a word.
But her heart?
Raged.
