Chapter Five - Heartless

Before the bird and the human left, the fox spirit reluctantly promised to help them a few times.

As the walk out into the woods, Kim Yinjun noticed that everytime he touched the trees the would sway their branches as if were blushing.

He asked the bird and he said “Master you’re the most powerful creature in this world, your ability is nature. You can understand and feel every leaving thing.” He then looked unhappily as if remembering something unpleasant. “In the past you used to prefer the delicate plants and clouds rather than us. It was the reason why I left that time.” He grumbled the last part before glaring at the trees.

“Oh..” Kim Yinjun observed the expression of the bird, who was acting like a child. And asked “Is there other than you ? And why was I sleeping for so long.”

He heard what that fox spirit said to raven, and couldn’t help but feel bothered by it. If he was so powerful as they say, how did he ended up with a shattered soul ?

“Yes,there’s ten of us! They were all sad about master leaving them so they all went into hibernation.”

Kim Yinjun looked at the green woods around them, lifting one brow up “In a weather like this ?”

“It’s been over nine hundred years since then. If one of us beasts want to sleep for thousands years there won’t be a problem.”

Kim Yinjun nod his head, he quietly thought about the black book he was shoved into. So far nothing was going on a bad way. Everything was perfect for him. Though he couldn’t help but think if he died.. would his soul shatter like the previous body owner? Would he die and feel the pain in this life ?

He doesn’t even know the plot nor the name of the book that he was shoved into, nor the past owner’s memory.

The fox spirit said that he would get them eventually once he met the chosen one.

Who was the chosen one ? Husband? Boyfriend? The one who killed him ?

But weren’t those dead already?

After thinking about carefully he concluded that it was better for him to get accustomed with this world and accept it as a second life and treasure it dearly.

He really doesn’t want to leave such a perfect body!

He looked at his body, that was rapped in a red kimono. He really liked how perfect the color was with his dark long hair.

“Master!”

A yell cut him from admiring himself , he frowned and look at the bird who glared back “What?”

“Stop smiling creepily and touching yourself inappropriately! I’m still a child!”

Kim Yinjun now understands the real meaning of spitting blood. He could feel his blood cells yelling in disgust wanting to jump out of his mouth and kill them selves.

Who would blame them ? He too want to smack his head on the tree till he die.

Raven felt attacked by his master’s gag, and how the trees shock in disgust.

He glared at them from the sky as he yelled “You all are heartless!”
