"Did you know my dad?" Staring at the little girl in one of Star's family album,I grinned.

My mother was a beautiful woman,much like star is.

"I don't know your father Andy.."

"weren't you and mom close? Didn't she tell you who she was with?"

"I despised your mom"

I raised my eyebrows,curious at the sudden sadness that passed over her eyes.

"Why would you say that?"

Shaking her head,she smiled bitterly at me. "She was someone I could never be. We do look the same,but that was it. Your mother was..not just a normal person."

"How was she like,Star? I don't remember..anything of my mother."

"She was like you."

I didn't expect that coming, so I stared at her dumbfounded.

"She was..like me?"

A tiny smile appeared on her lips as she looked out the window,her eyes glossed over.

"She was fierce,had this troublemaker of an attitude. She loved with all she had,and fought with twice as much effort. She was the best of the VA while she was.." Alive

Swallowing the lump in my throat,I stared out the window along with her.

"What did she work as in the VA?"

"She was.." She jolted awake,as if someone had zapped her and looked away,suddenly a frown etched into her face.

Cocking my head to the side,I frowned at Star.

"Come on,Star.After all the shit you pulled me through, you owe it to me. I deserve to know what kind of person she was."

"You do deserve to know, and you will know about it when the time comes.I cannot tell you about them,no matter how I wish to do so." She looked over her shoulder, as if someone would come out of the wall and start shooting.

Of course she can't tell me. It's the policy of the Agency to seal any and every information from the maggots. There's no point in asking.

"Andy."

I startled awake from my daydreams and looked at Star who was glaring daggers at me.

"Do you absolutely wish to save Zach? I hope you know what the risks might be when you would be going against the VA regulations."

Do I know it? aw yeah,I do. It's a suicide attempt.

Still. Do I want to?

"Heck yeah,Star. I don't wanna live knowing that I'll be safe and sound at the cost of a innocent person's life."

"You're just like your mother."

I don't know if I imagined that, but I felt star smile at me for a moment before she turned her back and motioned for me to follow her inside.

"Thank you,Star. I appreciate it." and I did.

We walked through a few of the security doors until I was staring at the whole Elite Quarter from the screen in front of me.

I gasped at the vast emptiness of the domed walls,the thousands of buildings that's standing like robots and...The guard bots rounding the streets about a hundred feet below us.

"This is where you..."

"Yes,this is my office. I couldn't think of a safer place as of now." She made a face as I giggled at the small robot cat that came out from behind a pile of papers on the table.

"Bobo. Function 11473. I need every documentary you can get your hands on. Now."

Looking at my quizzical face, Star mentioned that Bobo is what they call AIVA.

Artificial intelligence of Venus agency. The best kind of AI you can get your hands on,that has access to almost every documentary that can be collected from the VA.

and before you ask,no. it did not have any information about what happened to my parents.

"I get it that you can't explain anything about what they did. but don't you have any idea what happened to.."

Star shook her head at me.

"They didn't tell us anything. It seems like she vanished out of air,Andy."

I nodded my head at her. I don't know why she despised my mother, but from the hunched state of agent star,I could tell she really did love her.

"I'm sorry for your loss,Star. I don't even remember my mother, but you do.It must be harder on you."

She didn't reply,so I changed the subject.

"What's function 11473?"

"This is function 11473." She tapped a few buttons on the cat's body and the room went dark.

"Holy mother of..What is that?"

I pointed at the green lights moving into position slowly as an intricate design appeared in front of my eyes.

"This is the hologram of the Venus Agency. I hope you are ready to go kick some Venus ***,Andy."
