Dr. Henry Lee's Cabin was softly lit, with a warm glow from the lantern casting a gentle light on Dr. Erica, Dr. Jack, Dr. Maria and Alex's faces. Dr. Henry's eyes sparkled with excitement as he began to speak.

"Long time no see, guys. I've called you all here today because I believe we have finally found The Lost City. The legends, maps and clues all point to its existence. And I think we are the ones meant to uncover its secrets."

Dr. Erica remained silent, looking down while Dr. Jack leaned forward clearly enthusiastic. Dr. Maria listened intently, her eyes filled with curiosity. Alex the team's teach expert, nodded thoughtfully already thinking about the logistics of the expedition.

The tension between Erica and Jack was obvious, and Dr. Henry noticed it too. He cleared his throat.

"Erica, Jack, I know things have been... complicated between you two lately. But for this project, I need you both to put your differences aside. Can you do that for me?"

The room fell silent, with only the creaking of the old wooden cabin breaking the stillness. Jack shifted uncomfortably, while Erica's expression remained unreadable.

"Erica, please," Dr. Henry added, his voice filled with concern. "This project is too important to let personal issues get in the way."

Erica's gaze slowly rose to meet Dr. Henry's, her eyes flashing with anger. "You expect me to work with him, sir?" she said, her voice sharp. "After what he did to me?"

Jack's face darkened, his jaw clenched in frustration. "You're still holding onto that?" he sneered. "Get over it, Erica. It was just business."

"That's enough, Jack!" Dr. Henry thundered, slamming his fist on the table. "This is a professional setting, not a place for your personal vendettas. I expect respect and decorum from all of you."

The room fell silent again, with Erica's eyes welling up with tears. Dr. Maria and Alex exchanged a confused glance, unsure of what was happening between Erica and Jack.

Dr. Henry stepped forward, his voice calm and firm. "Erica, Jack, I understand there's a lot of history between you two. But this project is too important to let personal issues get in the way. Can you both agree to work professionally and respectfully?"

The silence stretched on, with Erica's anger and Jack's defiance hanging in the air. Finally, Erica nodded curtly. "Yes, sir. I'll do it. But don't expect me to forgive him anytime soon."

Jack snorted, but Dr. Henry's stern look silenced him. "Good. Let's focus on uncovering secrets. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Maria, can you start reviewing the maps and legends? Alex, can you work on the logistics and equipment we'll need?"

Dr. Maria nodded, intrigued by the project. "Of course, Dr. Henry. I'll get started right away."

Alex nodded as well, his expression neutral. "I'll start working on the logistics, Dr. Henry."

The team began to disperse, with Erica and Jack still exchanging tense glances. Dr. Maria and Alex were unaware of the depth of the tension between their colleagues, but they sensed that something was off.
