The Queen entered the grand room where all the princesses were seated, her presence commanding attention. "I have something to tell you all, and it's for your benefit, my princesses," she announced, her voice regal.
The princesses exchanged curious glances, then looked at the King and Queen. Before the Queen could continue, they chimed in unison, "We know what you want to tell us!"
The Queen's expression turned surprised, but the princesses didn't give her a chance to speak. They began voicing their objections, their voices overlapping.
"Not again!" Princess Nara exclaimed. "I refuse to go through with it!"
"This is ridiculous!" Princess Alena added.
Princess Anna chimed in, "I agree with Nara and Alena. This is unfair!"
However, Princess Kaira and Princess Ruby remained silent, observing the commotion with interest.
The Queen held up her hands, attempting to regain order. "My dear princesses, please listen—"
But the princesses continued to argue, their objections growing louder. The King leaned back in his chair, a hint of amusement on his face as he watched the scene unfold.
The Queen's expression turned stern as she addressed Princess Nara. "If you don't want to go through with the training, then I've arranged for you to marry Prince Luca. Now, what's your decision?"
Princess Nara's eyes widened in shock. "It's not fair, Mother!" she exclaimed, her voice rising in protest.
The Queen's gaze remained firm. "Give me your answer, Nara."
Princess Nara resorted to over-the-top dramatics, throwing her hands up in the air and declaring, "Oh, woe is me! My life is ruined!" But then, in a sudden about-face, she said, "Okay, Mother, I agree to the training."I have no option.
The room fell silent, with all the princesses staring at Nara in shock. Princess Alena couldn't help but tease, "Oh, I see Prince Luca's value is that low huh?" She chuckled.
The Queen shot Princess Alena a stern look. "Don't laugh, Alena. This is a serious matter."
Princess Alena giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I don't think I'll go, and I know you're not seriously asking me to get married," she said, her tone playful.
The Queen's expression turned stern, her gaze sharp. "It's serious, Princess Alena," she warned.
Princess Alena's grin faltered for a moment before she composed herself. The Queen then looked at the other princesses, her eyes scanning the room. "Any objections?" she asked.
Princess Fairy stood up, her face pale. "Mother, I don't want to go," she said, her voice trembling. "It's hard for me."
The Queen's expression softened slightly, but her tone remained firm. "You are a princess, and princesses have responsibilities. Not just sleeping and eating, but also learning and growing to serve our kingdom
The Queen's gaze shifted to Princess Kaira and Princess Ruby, a hint of approval in her voice. "Look at Kaira and Ruby, they agree to participate because they know their responsibilities and want to improve themselves. They want to do something meaningful for our kingdom."
All the princesses turned to look at Kaira and Ruby, who sat calmly, their expressions serene. Princess Kaira smiled slightly, while Princess Ruby nodded in agreement.
The King leaned forward, his voice firm but reassuring. "Tomorrow, I'll send you all for training, and it's safe, I assure you. I know you'll face some problems at first, but eventually, you'll accept it."
Princess Anna chimed in, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Yeah, we accept problems, right, Father?"
The Queen shot Princess Anna a sharp glance, her expression stern. "Princess, don't interrupt your King's talk."
The King smiled slightly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "It's alright, my dear.
The King smiled, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. "I have a good trainer for you. Someone who is highly skilled and experienced."
Princess Kaira's curiosity was piqued. "Who's capable enough that you trust and sent us to him?"
The King leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. "His name is Master Soohyun. He's a renowned expert in combat and strategy. I've personally witnessed his training methods, and I'm confident he'll push you to your limits."
Princess Nara chimed in, a playful tone in her voice. "But, Father, we want a good and handsome trainer. That way, we'll work hard with focus."
Princess Alena giggled, teasing her sister. "Oh, handsome trainer, and then work with focus?" She laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
The King's expression remained serious, his tone firm. "I sent you for training, so whether the trainer is handsome or not doesn't matter. Your focus should be on learning and improving, not on appearances."
Princess Nany looked up at the King with an innocent expression, her big eyes sparkling. "I want to go with them, I'm also strong, King."
The King smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You can also go, we know you're capable."
Princess Alena shot Princess Nany a sharp glance, her eyes narrowing slightly. She thought to herself, "She didn't lose any moment to score points." Princess Alena's expression remained neutral, but her eyes betrayed a hint of competitiveness.
