Chapter 5 - Akiyama Corp!

After Taki left, Akime and her father went to study. After entering they both gets seated on the sofa located.

"Akime, we have found who is the culprit behind this" her father says while looking at the documents

She blinks upon hearing what her father said "Who is it, Pa?"

"They said it's one of our company directors but I don't believe it and I have asked Alpha to investigate it thoroughly" he answers calmly for which she nods

"Akime, I advice you to be careful next time. l know you're strong enough to protect yourself and others but still be more careful" he gives a worried expression

"Pa, It's partially my fault as well, I had a feeling something wrong is going to happen but still I just let it aside. I'm sorry, I'll try to be more careful next time" Akime bows her head in apology

"Please don't apologise, Akime. It's not your fault and if it weren't for you we don't know what would have happened to Taki" he sighs

"But still Pa-" he cuts her off in the middle "Since no one is injured; let it aside, okay?" he smiles at her

she nods "Okay, Dad"

"And I forgot to mention, you're going to accompany me to the office tomorrow" he tells her calmly

Her eyes gets widen "Me? To the office? But why now?" she questions pointing at herself

"Because I want to let those guys know that my daughter is capable of taking over my position in the future" he smiles at her

"But.." she groans and nods "Fine.."

"You should go to sleep now, Good night" he greets her and leaves to his room

"Good night, Pa" she greets back and goes to her room, after entering she took a bath and gets herself changed into pajamas and falls onto her bed thinking about what her father said while sighing 'I seriously don't want to go' and she didn't get enough sleep that night because of it as well as her ongoing nightmares

The sun came up while bringing the rays of hope as well as telling the world to wake up since it's a new day, Akime gets herself dress casually and goes down to have breakfast.

After entering the dinning hall, she greets her father and brother who were already seated before getting herself seated and the family of three start to have breakfast. After they finished eating, Taki left for school while Akime went along with her father to go to Akiyama Corp (which is their company name)

Akiyama Corp is a multinational conglomerate company, it owns businesses and branches across the world engaged in energy, petrochemicals, textiles, natural resources, retail, financial, real estate, airlines, automobile, telecommunications, etc. It gained international recognition after purchasing several global companies and it stands as one of largest conglomerates in Country K.

It is one of the biggest and oldest industrial groups in the country which was founded by Akime's Great-Grandfather and fully owned by Akiyama family. The Akiyama family has a century old history and holds a great power and recognition in all aspects in the country, it's one of the main reasons why their lives are always under danger and Akime's Father gets worried easily since those two are the only ones who are left for him now.

Akime's Father whose full name is Keichi Akiyama has taken his current position as a company chairman when he was in his twenties and expanded it further. One of its main branch is located at the capital in the center of the city and it takes an hour to reach from Akiyama Estate.

After a hour the their car comes to stop at the entry gate of the main building and both the father and daughter gets down from the car to get greeted by the bodyguards who are standing nearby, they both nod at them before entering. After entering the building they directly went to the conference hall in which all board of directors as well as vice chairman are present because chairman's secretary has asked them for a immediate audience stating chairman has something important to announce, upon their arrival all the people present stood up to give a quick bow as a greeting gesture for which Keichi nods and gets himself seated on his seat which is present at the center and asks Akime to seat next to him.

"I believe you already know that I asked you all to gather here to make an important announcement" Keichi speaks for which all people who are present nods

"The announcement is, I'm making my eldest daughter who is the only Miss of Akiyama family as my heir apparent.." at this statement the people present started whispering to each other

"A girl?"

"What is chairman thinking?"

"Can she be able to handle?"

"I heard she's just seventeen"

upon hearing their whispers, Keichi adds in "..and if you guys have any objections you can ask them here itself" he gives them a cold glare daring them to oppose for which they shuddered and shook their heads

"How can we have any objections, Mr. Chariman?" one of the director says

"We all are inline with your decision" other adds in

"Yes and we believe as your daughter she'll will be the best" another tries to boot lick

"We believe in your decision" another says for which all nod in union

"Well than since it's been settled you guys can leave" Keichi gestures them to leave but before they could leave the hall he adds in "I forgot to inform, I'll be hosting a party next week to make an official statement and you all will get a formal invitation as well" indirectly telling them, they must attend at any cost, all the people nodded for their chairman's words before leaving
