The coronation day has arrived, and with it the time for the twins to put their plan into motion. After the coronation, they will have dinner with Kiara's family, so they will take advantage of that moment to continue with the plan. But in the meantime, they are in their office, somewhat exasperated, their wolves have been bothering them since yesterday when they moved away from their mate.
"Let's go for a run, Keyden, I'm going crazy," Aiden says, rubbing his head.
"I agree with you, Hero hasn't stopped bothering me," Keyden replies.
The twins leave the office and head to the forest, which is in the large garden of the castle and is a part of the forest that is exclusively for members of the royal family. Once there, they release their wolves, who begin to run throughout the forest.
Meanwhile, Kiara is playing hide-and-seek with Jonas and Jay in a part of the large garden.
"I found you, Jay," Kiara says. "It's your turn."
Jay takes his place and begins to count, Jonas and Kiara run to hide. Kiara, not finding a place to hide, runs towards the forest and moves away a bit so they can't find her. While running, Kiara trips over something and ends up falling to the ground, hurting her knee and ankle. The little girl cries as she cannot get up due to the pain in her knee.
"Jonas! Jay!" the little girl shouts.
Jay starts looking for Kiara and Jonas. He finds the latter shortly after and begins to look for Kiara, whom he cannot find after a while.
"Where could she have hidden?" he asks.
"Maybe she hid inside the palace," Jonas comments.
"Maybe, let's go look for her."
And so the children go to look for little Kiara, who continues to cry and call out to them.
The twins' wolves head towards the little girl because they sense a desperation and believe it is because of their mate. When they are a few meters away, they sharpen their hearing and hear a little girl crying, so they hurry to the place where the crying is heard.
The little girl sobs, rubbing her ankle and knee, which is red. Hero and Dan, the twins' wolves, arrive at the scene.
They see their little mate sitting on a rock sobbing. The twins see her as a sun because of her blonde hair falling over her shoulders in light waves.
The little girl looks back when she feels someone behind her. The twins fall under her charm when they see her with teary eyes, with tears falling down her cheeks and a flushed nose and cheeks, making her look tender and delicate.
"Are you here to help me?" the little girl asks amid sobs.
The twins are surprised to see that the girl was not scared when she saw them, since they are in their wolf forms, which are larger than the form of a common wolf, and that happens when they are royalty.
"You are the twin princes, right? Your wolves are bigger than a common wolf, so you must be someone from the royal family," the little girl comments, wiping her tears while smiling, knowing that they are only the twin princes.
She turns on top of the rock to face the twins. She points to her legs as if she were calling a little animal to come closer. The somewhat confused twins approach her, leaving their snouts in the girl's lap while she caresses them. The little girl laughs when she feels that little electricity that always appears when she touches the twins.
"How cute," says the little girl, stroking the black fur of the wolves. "Are you the twins?" she asks.
Both wolves nod and she smiles.
"You are Prince Aiden, right?" she asks the one on her left, "and you are Keyden," she asks the one on her right, and they both nod again.
The twins are surprised that she could distinguish them, then they realize that she is their destined mate, so she will be the only one who can distinguish them in their wolf form.
The twins move away a little to change back to their human form, each hiding behind a tree which has a basket of clothes.
"Ah! I understand, you are going to change," Kiara turns her back so they can change. "Are you done yet?" she asks a while later.
"Yes, little Sun," Aiden replies.
The little girl turns around and is very happy to see the twins.
"What are you doing in the forest alone?" Keyden asks.
"I was playing hide-and-seek with Jonas and Jay, and I went into the forest to hide, but I fell and hurt my knee and my ankle, so I couldn't walk back," the little girl explains, showing her injured knee.
The twins feel rage when they see their mate hurt. They look at the little girl who shrinks at the terrifying look the twins have.
"Are you angry?" the little girl asks, wanting to cry.
When the twins see that they have scared their little mate, they soften their faces, leaving the anger aside.
"We're not angry with you, little sun," Keyden tells her.
"Come, we'll take you to the castle, little sun."
Aiden takes the little girl in his arms, making the little girl laugh as she feels that little electricity again.
"Why are you laughing, little sun?" Keyden asks, also smiling.
"It tickles me every time I have contact with you," says the little girl.
The twins look at each other at that confession, they know that it is part of the bond which she feels but does not yet understand.
Aiden carries the little girl accompanied by Keyden, both happy to have their little mate, but the happiness does not last when they enter the castle and see that their parents and siblings run towards them when they see them with her in their arms.
Marie and Rick hesitate for a moment before taking the little girl from them, who seeks her parents' arms. The twins do their best to calm their wolves and not let out growls that could terrify their little mate, in addition to being afraid of the look that their mother gives them, who knows how possessive her children are with what they believe belongs to them.
"We were worried, honey, don't go away like that again," Marie tells her.
"I'm sorry, Mommy, I just wanted to have a good hiding place," the little girl apologizes when she sees how she worried everyone.
The twins leave angry to see how they make their mate want to cry again, that being a stake in their hearts.
"Why does she have to apologize?" asks an angry Keyden.
"Because unlike you, she is a child, who still has a lot to learn and mature and does not yet know the damage that her actions can cause," Emma scolds them, entering their office. "This was the reason why I kept you away from her, you have to learn that she is a child who you cannot expect not to cry or get hurt when something happens to her or when her parents scold her since it is necessary so that she can learn what is right or wrong."
The twins only listen to their mother without daring to retort, since they may be the next Kings, but she is still their mother.
"Luna Marie and Alpha Rick thank you for bringing little Kiara," says Jack, entering with his brothers.
"I think we haven't talked about this and it's time to do it before it gets out of control," Noah says.
