CHAPTER 1

"This has been the reason for my sickness lately "

I said to myself as I was walking out of the hospital holding my report in my hand I read out loud the words written in the paper " pregnant : Positive " I chuckled to myself and got inside my car in the parking lot and drove to my house

It's about to be 8 pm and there is still no sight of my husband. we are married for around 3 years and to be honest I have never once was unhappy with HAN , I know he is a CEO of his company and has many works to do but he never failed to treat me good and he saw through me for who I was .

As soon as the door bell rang I rushed to receive my husband, I once took a look at the mirror and smiled to myself before opening the door for him . There he was the guy who I thought loved me standing in front of me with a crushed shirt and a crooked tie , hair a little messy and the suit coat to be found no were he was reeking of alcohol the stench made me take a step back , I asked "Are you ok , did you went out with any of your clients?" that was the last thing I said before he pushed me and went straight to the bed.

I was sitting in the living room couch confused to what had happened just now , I checked at Han to see him lay in the bed without even changing his clothes he probably feel asleep as fast as he layed down . but what I'm confused about is that even though he was reeking from alcohol I could smell the scent of a female's perfume from his body I don't know why I'm thinking like this but this exact smell reminds me of him , the guy I badly wanted to forget who showed me what it takes to live in a hell.

I quickly shook that thought off and went to sleep next to Han , he is my husband and I'm safe with him now .

"Zia why do you hate me now ?? after using me for all you want now you can think you can throw me away , NEVER " he screamed in front of my face making my body shiver I was already to weak to move my hands were cuffed and the fact that he was there made me tremble . He came more closer and sniffed my hair , I really felt disgusted as he slowly took a strand of my hair and said " Maybe we were meant to be together forever " and smirked . I jolted from my sleep as I was panting and sweating it was the nightmare of him the memories which I badly wanted to forget are starting to haunt me , I subconsciously held my stomach in a way of protecting the child .

I turned to my side to check for Han but he was not there but then the bathroom door creaked open revealing him with a white towel covering his bottom but his top being exposed open it's a sight that I daily see so I smiled proudly to myself , he said "Why are you smiling like that?" I then looked up at his eyes and blushed shaking my head as a sign of nothing , he then went past me straight to the wardrobe as I headed out to prepare breakfast for him

I settled the dishes on to the table as I saw him dig in the plate right after he sat , I guess he had his drink last night with empty stomach , about him getting drunk last night I wanted to ask him what had happened that he came home drunk like that but I was stopped when I heard the door bell , I asked the maid who was washing the dishes to go check on the door .

within minutes the maid came in with flowers in her hands I looked confused and saw Han he took a look at it and asked the maid for any mention of name in it, as the maid was looking for it I saw a peace of paper in between the flowers which I probably think are lavenders, I pointed to the direction to which she noticed immediately and gave it to me .

the touch of the paper gave me nostalgia once I opened it I didn't expect to see what was written in it .I started to shake at the sight of the handwriting. I knew who gave this but how , when did he know that I'm here. Han saw me acting weird and took out the note calmly from my hand and read out the words

"Maybe we were meant to be together forever "
