Chapter3 Beginning of Journey

It's been a years after LKLB hiring a manager and as expected, Lucas were more relaxed. He is now chillin' in the company music room trying to brainstorm something for his new song, he begin to experimenting on new genre\-pop electro song.

"Wow, that was awesome" his manager suddenly appear next to him.

"Geez Evans, you going to kill me for appearing suddenly". His manager only laugh on him.

"Are you going to change the band into electro?"

"Nah, I'm just experimenting with this." Lucas said while focusing on his screen.

"You done with this? I want the copy of it, I got some connection to get this song on the radio.". Lucas raise his brows while looking at his manager

"I only do this song for fun bro. I don't think anyone want this"

"Well, you'll never know if you didn't try". Lucas only laugh him off

"I got few of it actually, wanna hear it?" Evans nod his head and Lucas click on the folder of his experimental music, his manager took manager took over of his PC and Lucas went out to grab drinks for both of them.

While Lucas were out, Evans were in awe with music that Lucas made.

Being a fan of electro music make him giddy inside and it was no secret of him having a wide connection when it comes to entertainment. After listening to few tracks, he took out his phone and dialled on a number.

"Hello Steve, this is Evans."

"Hey buddy, I assume you got something for me?". The latter laugh with the remarks, Steve know him best.

"You got me there man. Listen, I think I can get you something for you next client but I need you to come to meet mr ASAP."

"Your are my saviour! Just tell me the place, I will come and meet you i. A flash"

"I can't guarantee that you could seal the deal right away but I know you can use your persuasion for this. By the way, I'm at LA now."

"What the... I thought you are in New York, man. I'll meet you up tomorrow then"

"I was hired dummy, I'll text you the time and place. Just get your \*\*\* here". Evans end the call with a smile, his friend been bugging him to get a possible tracks for his client and he seems to meet an dead end.

Few moment later, Lucas came in with 2 Starbucks coffee on his hand.

"What's up with the smile?" lucas raise his brows while looking at his manager.

"You're free tomorrow right?"

"Yeah, I think so. Why?"

"I want you to meet with someone, I think your song could be on the radio". Evans answered with a grin while Lucas only shook his head and smile.

"Whatever you say bro seriously, I doubt anyone will like this song" Lucas said before sipping on his coffee.

"Well, it worth a try right?"

"Yeah, why not? Its not like I'm going to use it anyway". He said and laugh.

Lucas were sleeping soundly on his bed before someone banging on his door, he is irritated.

"Oh come on, let me sleep for awhile". He muttered while ruffling his hair, he lazily open the door and saw his manager are smiling to him.

"Did you forgot about our conversation last night?". Lucas eyes widen and glance on his table clock.

"Sorry man, I overslept. Give me 20 minutes to get ready". Closing his door and hurriedly went into the bathroom to refresh himself.

"What's up with you 2?" Bomi came out from the kitchen a bowl of cereal in her hand.

"He forgot about his meeting with someone, I came to pick him up" Bomi nod her head and eat a spoonful of cereal.

"I assume he got another project coming up?". Evans hum as respond

"Evans, just make sure he got some time for himself, he really need to get a life". Bomi said jokingly, she have been concern over Lucas.

He always burying himself in the studio working, tge other member have try to hook him up with some girls but it never work out.

"Yeah, why don't you be with him? You 2 look good together" Evans wriggles his brows while looking at Bomi.

"stop with you stupid suggestion, I can't never look at him in romantic way. He is my brother for godsake.". She laughed and continue eating her breakfast.

"Geez Evans, I heard that.". Lucas said walking out from his room.

"What? I did think you 2 look good together". Lucas and Bomi laugh on Evans.

"Dude, we are family. Bomi already in a relationship". Lucas said and it makes Evans shocked.

"Why didn't I know about this? I'm your manager" he whine dramatically

"Being our manager doesn't mean I have to tell you everything about my life Evans" she chuckled.

"Lets stop with your over dramatic act Evans, let's go". Lucas put his snapback on and went out after bidding goodbye to Bomi.

They are now sitting at a cafe waiting for Evans friend to come, Evans took his tab out and brief few things to Lucas. A guy in tux went to their table and greet Evans.

"Steve, meet Lucas and Lucas, this is the guy that I told you yesterday". They exchange a handshake before proceeding to their discussion.

"So Evans, about the tracks that you told me earlier". Evans cutted Steve before he could finish his talk.

"Lucas us the 1 who produce it"

"So when can I listen to it? I really really need it as my client are pushing me" Steve said desperately.

"Well, we can head ti the studio if you really need it" Lucas said.

"Shall we?". Evans then paid for the drinks and drive them to the studio, steve saw some poster on the hallway and LKLB poster caught his eyes.

"So you are a singer as well". He said as soon as they settled in the studio chair, Lucas smile sheepishly and plug tge hard drive to the PC.

"Yeah, he been experimenting with lots of genre but his original passion in indie and rock". Steve were stunned, he seems to recognise Lucas. Working with alot of artist did give him a bit hint about this young guy existence.

"It's you that wrote some of the song in Beyoncé last album, right?". Lucas only scratch his nape and flash him a shy smile, he always look confident on the stage but the truth is, he enjoy more on working behind the scene.

"Let's hear the song now, shall we?". Lucas said to escape the awkwardness, he click on the first song. The sound of electro music immediately caught Steve ears, he bob his head with music. He is now smiling ear to ear after all of that song came to an end,

" I think I heard enough and expert me to give you a call later Evans" they spend few hours talking before they decide to call it a day, both Lucas and his manager walk Steve to the front building and bid him goodbye.

"Told ya". Evans said while watching his friend drive away from the company building, he pat Lucas shoulder and offered to drive him home.

"So how was it?". Leo asked as soon as Lucas sit on the chair of their kitchen.

"Fine I guess". Leo shot him a questioning looks.

"The deal only sealed of the client satisfy, you know how it works" he nod his head and offered Lucas a drinks.

"I think I'm going to gym today, I got tired easily"

"Count me in, I need to get in shape too". In the end all of them went to the gym including Bomi. Working out together is 1 of their way to spend their time.

"Phew, working out is so refreshing"

Kai lay on couch as soon as the went back home, Bomi went back to her parents house leaving the trio at home.

"I'm hungry". Kai pat on his growling stomach.

"We all do, I'm going to cook us something" Lucas then went to the kitchen to cook.
