After thorough cursing and swearing to his satisfaction. He retreated to laying on his back, closing his eyes with an heavy sigh.

Brat! A month? What should I do? How should I ...

A crispy noise disrupted his ocean of thoughts. His already closed eyes were immediately flung open, wiping out every other things he was thinking about.

" S-sorry" A petite woman dressed in grey skirt holding a broom. She got Down on her knees picking up what was left of what was supposedly to be a white procelaine vase.

The remains of the vase looked like tiny diamonds through the help of the sunlight coming from the opened 'odd' window.

He watched her in bemusement, using her bare hands to pick up the remains of the vase with no look of discomfort.

Doesn't it hurt?

" Ah!"

Foolish.

The Woman squeezed her face in pain, holding out a bleeding finger. It must have been pierced by the diamonds on the floor.

Not thinking twice, he rushed to her side and grabbed the finger from her " Fool!" He hissed before putting the finger in his mouth.

He sucked on the finger in order to stop the blood. The blood tasted metallic and fishy-sweet in his mouth. He sucked all the blood inside his mouth.

Meanwhile, the woman eyes widened in surprise and shrunk in pain. Her cheeks were red, lips drawn in straight.

Careless and negligent.

His mouth felt sore and heavy from sucking the finger. He removed the finger with a pop sound and stared at the red swollen finger.

" Does it hurt?" His voice was calm as the sea.

The woman speechless, just nodded her head In response with her face down hiding the shades of red on her face.

He saw everything, he overlooked it. He looked down to the ground. The ground was a beautiful mess.

The little diamonds were stained with red. A Snow hidden Jade tinted with red from the dusk. It looked like a beautiful painting.

" First aid kit?"

" eh" The woman wore a confused look on her little face.

" First. Aid. Kit. " He spoke slow so that the woman could understand him.

" What is a first aid kit?" the woman asked confusedly.

He facepalmed internally, cursing and swearing. His eyebrows twitched and his mouth opened to speak, but closed back.

What the hell! Who doesn't know a first aid kit? ok, I will try asking her for a bandage.

" Bandage?" He tried to be cool and smooth with the poor woman. He can't just loose his temper.

The woman thought for a while before replying " Tainyi cottage!"

WTF?!?!

" Eh" it was his turn to be confused. with whatever the woman just said, it made no sense to him. His forced smile gave way to a mini frown on his face. He had three lines of wrinkles on his forehead.

" The Tainyi cottage has a physician"

I am not talking about a physician!

He facepalmed several times before replying " Ok, where is he?"

The woman pointed to the south of the room. His eyes followed her movement.

Standing behind a transparent frame, a man in his late seventies dressed in an overwhelming sleeves gown, a black cloth, maybe ribbon was tied around his forehead. His grey beards standing out proudly and his hair simply styled to match his age. His face had wrinkles of different sizes and colors.

Is this a physician or a dead man?

" Ok, go meet him to tend to your wound"

The woman hesitated a bit before getting up. Bowing her head " But consort... the mess...I made..."

Why can't she think about her life first before any other thing?

" let it be. Request for another person to take care of it. Go take care of it and bring the physician to me when he has treated you"

Wow! this wasn't me speaking.

" this humble servant is grateful" She kowtowed and left.

I feel weak and sore. Just lazy to do or think about anything.

He struggled to get up to his feet, just to stagger a few steps backwards. Fortunately, he regained his stamina as soon as possible. Everything was blurry and numb.

Why do I feel this way?

His stomach chuned and tighten. He felt irritated as saliva was soon accumulated in his mouth. He just had to jagged it back inside him.

Maybe a nap will do.

He forced his heavy legs to move. his legs response was so poor that he has to drag his legs through blurry eyes towards the bed.

Once he got to the bed, he collapsed on it, darkness filling his dizzy vision.
