(PART1) REEK OF HATE: Pain

Eversince I'm a child, I'm not loved and cared. People didn't even noticed me. If they will notice me, it's because of my mistakes.

ME(ACE) : GRANDPA, GRANDPA! 😀 Look at this.

GRANDPA: (throw me a noninterested glimpse) Chelle, you should enjoy and do what makes you happy ha!?

He is like that. He despised me and my existence.

As a child of the age of five, what will you expect me to do? I make a scene to have his attention.

GRANDPA: What is it? (ask by grandpa from afar.) What happened Chelle? (he ask worried and bothered) (a sharp glare is thrown to my sight) HEY! WHAT'S WITH YOU!? YOU WANNA BE NOTICED!? HA! DO ME A FAVOR, BE DEAD.

ME(ACE) : *it's the same nightmare which haunt me through the years. Even grandpa is already dead for more than ten years.

IYA: Good morning 😁🤗😘 (a smile along a hug and a kiss on forehead is given to me by my roommate, my friend)

ME(ACE) : I awkwardly smile

IYA: Don't push yourself ha!?! I know it's the same nightmare you were dreaming.

When I am about to reply I am cut

IYA: (she talkes on the other lines)

ME(ACE) : *she looks bothered and worried*

IYA: (walks near me. Her eyes glimmer because of the tears she holds back) I will be going home five days from now. My mom called and said that she already found someone I will marry.

ME(ACE) : (I look away by turning my back. But that doesn't stop my tears to fall.) Why now? The semester isn't done yet. (trying to hold this impish cry)

IYA: (she doesn't speak. I feel her at my back and lean her forhead at my back.) It's part of my life. I don't want to go but I don't wanna abandon my family especially my parents. I don't want them to shed there face for the discrimination of my society. (end her explanation and tightly hug me from the back)

ME(ACE) : Since I know this maybe the last time I could possibly see you. Let me say something.

IYA: Okay, say it Ace.

ME(ACE) : Your existence changed the way I view myself. Before I'm neglected, not loved nor cared. But since the day you came, my dark world light up. I LOVE YOU! Not because I owe you one. But because my heart says it.

(as I finished what I long awaited to say and set free. She loosened her hug and I feel she leave my side. But worst is she leaved me behind.)

Iya started to pack her things. As she finish packing she went away without looking back nor trying to say goodbye.

FIVE YEARS LATER

FLASHBACK (YESTERDAY AT THE MALL)

MINDY: Honn!! Can you buy me that? As well as those shirts.. (hugs tightly my left arms that makes me feel warm.)

MINDY: By the way hon, tomorrow I will not be here. Me and my family will spend our time tomorrow till weekend in Batanggas. I need some money to rent a car. As well as, some pocket money.

ME(ACE) : Okay, honnn... This 10k, is this enough?

MINDY: Ahmm... Thank you honn... I will budget it. 9K for car rent and 1K for my allowance. I will buy you some souvenirs there.

ME(ACE) : I think its not enough. Here is an additional 10K.

ME(ACE) : *JEEZ, WHAT CRAP I PUT UP IN MY MIND. THAT MINDY LOVES ME? I should not think that way. If a friend that well loved and cherished me left me because of what I am and felt for her. What more this girl who can have any boy swon into her, why would she be choosing me of all? *😭 😭😭*I am back to none again. No one to love and who loves me. No one who care and look after me. Is it really fate!?*

A GIRL VOICE: Ahmm!! MS. ARE YOU OKAY!?! (worry is evident in her voice.)..

ME(ACE) : *what an angelic voice... I opened

my eyes and I can see my forever. Oopps....!! I just got beaten up earlier by my ex gf's boyfriend and now I let my heart fall again so quick. *

GIRL: AHM.. I am really sorry. Let me help you to stand.

ME(ACE) : (I stand with her help)*is this heaven already!? Am I dead already!?

GIRL: (She wave her hand that makes me go back in my sense) Is there any pain that you feel!? Let us go to the hospital. (still worry and bothered)

The girl seems to look like a Senior highschool or freshmen in college.

ME(ACE) : Ahmm, May I ask!?

GIRL: Yes, sure.

ME(ACE) : Are you okay!?

GIRL: Yes, dont worry I am fine.😊

ME(ACE): You seems got a problem in your eyes. You even hit me. I THINK YOU GOT AN EYE PROBLEM. Don't mind me, go to eye clinic and have an eye glass so this won't happen again. Huh! Hmp!

Without looking back after I say those harsh words despite her concern. I trully remorse about it.

ME(ACE) : *I like her yet why I somehow mean to her!? *

FASTFORWARD

I somehow manage to arrived at the very nick of time. There I can hear the manager announce something.

MANAGER: Guyss, work hard today and show off what you can do. Today, our new CEO will arrive. Can I count on you!?

OFFICEMATES: YES, MA'AM! ( they are in sync when they answer)

ME(ACE) : *wow, it is not typhoon season but why alot of plastics are floating here*🤭

I don't need to pretend to work. Cause I really love to do my task. For, it makes me lost into it up to the point that I forget the pain and struggle I'm into.

ENNKK!

The door opened and there I see my karma.

ME(ACE): *why of all the people who will be my new boss... Arggghh...! I should ready myself from being lay off. *

There she is guided by the manager. Roaming in the entire room filled with encoders like me. They are near me. Then our eyes meet. There is the glint of recognition in her eyes.

NEW CEO: Ms. Thomas, is our company so loose in hiring disrespectful employee. (throw a look with a grin on lips.)

MANAGER: No, Ma'am. All here were screened and well manner

NEW CEO: Okay, if what you are saying is true let me do this. YOU ARE FIRED! . (she looks at me to say Im the one she pertain)

Im in the verge of crying cause nothing seems to happen properly in my life. When she said the most outrageous words I hear in my entire life.

NEW CEO: keep all your things and follow me. Starting now you will be my personal asisstant.

My mouth left agape. The angel I see earlier turns to be a real demon.
