“The Devil’s Suit”
Jungkook didn’t sleep that night.
The name echoed in his mind like a warning and a dare. Cold. Calculated. Powerful. A man whose presence could silence a boardroom with a glance—and Jungkook had only ever seen that kind of dominance in mirrors.
He grabbed his phone and searched him again—just to feel annoyed.
Every article said the same thing: Youngest CEO in Seoul’s luxury branding history. Mastermind. Untouchable. There were photos, too. Of course there were. Taehyung didn’t hide.
Sharp jawline. Eyes like winter. Always in a tailored suit, always alone. Not a smile in sight—only the occasional smirk, like he knew something you didn’t.
Jungkook stared at the screen.
Jeon jungkook
Who the hell does he think he is?
The Next Day – Studio Lobby
Minseo was waiting with iced coffee and a knowing look. She handed him the cup without a word, then started walking like she had missiles to launch.
Jungkook followed, sipping.
Jeon jungkook
So. What’s the deal? Am I supposed to kneel before the king now?
Lee min seo
If I see you kneel, I’m filming it. For blackmail.
He muttered, but there was a twitch at the corner of his mouth
They walked into the agency conference room—clean, modern, painfully intimidating. A few marketing heads sat at the table, chatting quietly.
Jungkook sat. Arms crossed. Legs spread just enough to look confident, not cocky.
Ten minutes passed. Then fifteen.
Lee min seo
He’s not late. He’s just proving a point.
Their eyes met—hers impressed, his unreadable.
Taehyung stood at the glass window of his office, watching the city. Calm. Immaculate in black. Not in a rush.
Tammy (asst)
He’s in the conference room
His assistant said softly.
Tammy (asst)
Do you want me to—
kim taehyung
No. Let him wait.
kim taehyung
I know who he is.
kim taehyung
He thinks he’s in control
Taehyung said, sipping his espresso.
kim taehyung
Let’s see how long that lasts.
Back downstairs, Jungkook leaned into his chair, stretching like a panther in a cage.
The meeting hadn't even started, and already, the game had begun.
