The next day, Yuka sent his usual “Good morning, Ghost Boy!” text before even brushing his teeth. He had started to enjoy their quiet digital routine. It felt like building a secret world—just the two of them, hidden from everything else.

Samaka took longer to reply than usual.
Yuka waited. And waited.

Samaka smiled through the tears he didn’t understand.

Yuka responded instantly.
Yuka:
