The next day was the students favourite day of the week as they games today
Uri entered the class and saw many new faces and many saw a new face
Violet
Who is she? (asked Nancy)
Nancy
She is the new admission started yesterday.
Violet
Yesterday you mean after 5 months have passed in the school year
Nancy
Uri she is from ABC convent school
Violet
So she is a Christian
Nancy
I don't know I didn't ask her
Violet
Uri come sit with me
Violet
Hi I am Violet, and we are going to be best buds not best friends because I already have one and if she heard I made a new best friend we both will be dead
Uri
💭She is very talkative. She is an extrovert wouldn't hurt to have an extrovert friend it might help
Uri sat next to her, and she wasn't just talkative she talked like it was breathing
The bell rang and Uri took out her books to thinking it was self study period, but everyone got up to leave
Uri
We don't have self study period today?
Violet
Today is Wednesday today self study and first period both are for games
The whole class reached the ground and the teacher asked everyone what sport they would be playing
Uri knew the school had a lot of sports, but she just found out they didn't just have a lot of sports they had all the sports
Everyone divided into groups to play sports while Uri stood next to Violet like she was lost
Her previous school had one sport Basketball that to for team members only. She was very excited to play sports but only the boys were plays.
Uri walked up to Vance and gathered a lot of courage to ask

Can I play with you guys?
Vance
Sure we were one player short
Vance
Guys this is Uri from my class she is a new admission, and she is also playing any problem

Yes I ain't taking a girl on my team
Vance
I never said she was on your team she is on my team. Uri you are defense and since you asked to play I am going to assume you know how to play
Uri
Yes I do. I mean not as a pro, but I know how to play
Vance
Works we aren't playing FIFA anyway
Since Uri was a girl the guys weren't ready to tackle her, and this gave the team an unfair advantage and they won the match
Vance
See the girl helped me win the match. Good job Uri (said lifting his hand for a fist bump)
The two did a fist bump and their was the weird feeling that Uri was questioning
The next few periods went by quick but a hell for Uri she didn't know the previous chapters, and it made it difficult for her to understand a few things all because her father kept her home for few months because of some problem at work
The whole week went by quick and Uri grew close to Violet and Nancy and since Vance was a friend with the two she spent time with the three
It was a Saturday morning and Uri was, someone who used to go to school everyday so she did the same today as well
She got on bus, but today but something was off there weren't any students on the bus and all the teachers looked at her like she was an alien

💭Why are the teachers looking at me like that

💭I feel like I have committed a crime
Uri sat on her seat and took out her novel to read
She soon reached school and went to her class the whole class was empty
Not just that the whole floor was empty

💭Is the school closed today, or what did I make a mistake coming to school today
That's when her eyes fell on figure coming to the second floor where she stood

💭Vance is here, so the schools not closed

💭I'll sit alone in class and study no one will disturb me
That's when his eyes fell on the figure standing in front of her

💭What's she doIng here? I mean i know it's her school as well, but I'm always alone on Saturdays
The two stood in front of the class door looking at each other

I'm the kind of person who wants to come to school on Sunday also
The two sat down on their seats that one someone else entered the class

I'm Austin I study in this class sat in the row next to you for the last two days
Uri
Oh hi Austin sorry I have been very busy completing my work I didn't notice
Vance
💭What's up with him, he doesn't come to school on weekdays, and he's here on Saturday
The three students sat down when the teacher entered

Oh, so Vance isn't alone today
Mrs Evelyn
Good morning. All three of you get up and move to the class next door the classes are combined
Uri took her bag and went with the teacher
Austin and Vance also took their bags and left the class and almost went inside the class next door
Mrs Evelyn
Not that class the class opposite us
Austin held his bag and ran to the class
When Vance walked in Austin was sitting in the seat next to Uri
Uri and Vance looked at each other. Uri planned on sitting with Vance as he was helping her with her work and Violet hadn't been coming to school

💭So he ran to sit next to her yeah something is really fishy
It was lunchtime now and Uri sat on her seat doing her work when a girl entered the class

Vance let's go to the cafeteria today
Uri turned to look at the owner of the voice
Autumn
Vance it's my treat let's go
Vance
Uri you want to come with us
Uri
Nah I'll stay here doing my work I want to complete it before you guys begin the exams
Vance
Autumn let's stay here and chat that way we company Uri while she does her work
Austin
It's no problem I'll company her here
Vance
No problem I'm staying either way
Autumn did not like this her best friend preferred staying in to company the new girl rather than going to the cafeteria with her
Autumn and Vance were talking while Autumn was eating, Uri did her work quietly sitting in the corner
Vance
Aren't you going to eat something (said to Uri)
Uri
Nah, I haven't brought anything as I planned on working during lunch break
Uri
You aren't in this class what are your subjects (asked Autumn)
Autumn
I'm a biology student I plan to be a doctor.
Uri
Oh good for you hope you succeed in your plan
Autumn
I will, I know that
The bell rang and Autumn got up and left
Very soon the mathematics teacher came in and asked everyone to take out their books

💭Shit man I forgot to bring the book again I need to get used to bringing math book

Austin do you have the math book

Nah I forgot the book
Uri tapped Vance's chair with her feet Vance slightly looked back

I do come sit next to me (said looking at Austin to check his suspicions)
And he got his answer Austin was pissed at this
The whole day went by and Uri reached home

Mum I am to take a shower while I do that could you please heat the food
Uri came out and sat on her bed eating her lunch while she watched a movie
Mrs. Smith
How are your days going
Uri
They are going pretty well
Mrs. Smith
So do you have any friends, yet
Uri
I don't plan on making any
Uri
I do take all the notes for class from a guy named Vance
Mrs. Smith
No friends, yet it was your third day today
Uri
I already have a friend, and she is in XYZ public school her name is Sage remember
Uri
By the way the school is beginning half-yearly exams from Monday, so I will be sitting in the library while my classmate stake the exams and after they are done I will do back to the class and continue the classes
Mrs. Smith
Oh that sounds hectic the library must be in the different building you would have to walk back and forth from the buildings
Mrs. Smith
After you are done eating go back to studying you need to cover up your syllabus fast

💭Yeah thanks to you and dad who kept me home for 5 months because there was some "work problem"
The whole day Uri kept studying and was almost up all night studying and went to bed at 5 am
She knew her mother was gonna come in 4 hrs and scold her for sleeping in knowing she was up all night studying
