Chapter 5 - Five

" It's your future wife boss. " Pablo said while letting the person on the other line hears it.

I get the phone from his hand and put it on my left ear.

" Do you like the house? " I asked gently.

" It's perfect for us both. Anyway where are you? I missed you already. " The voice of the woman said.

" I missed you too, but you know business comes first. " I answered.

" I know, that's why my dad likes you because you are workaholic but babe, pleasures comes first don't you think? " She said with seducing voice.

I smiled.

" Of course. See you next week. " I said and off the phone.

" Pablo, buy some items with me. " I said.

" What is it boss?" Pablo asked.

HANNI POV

I was surprised to see the table being cleaned by his two men. I cannot find him anywhere, so I decided to go to the bedroom and take a shower then rest.

My menstrual cramps worsen after showering, so I laid down on the queen size bed. It is, soft and clean that it makes my eyes sleepy.

SALVATORE POV

My men told me that she went straight to the bedroom after coming out of the restroom.

I walk to the direction of the master's bedroom and open the door.

There she is, lying down in the middle of the bed.

She's wearing a pajama that has a cartoon drawing on it and both of her hands were on her belly.

I get the warming pad that I just bought and put it on her belly.

I first removed her arms and put the warming pad on her belly.

HANNI POV

I freaked out when I felt a large palm on my belly.

I opened my eyes and saw Salvatore sleeping beside me.

His palm is on my belly.

I immediately stood up and go down the bed, thankfully he's still asleep.

I was hungry because I didn't eat dinner, and it was 6:00 in the morning.

I opened my phone closing my eyes, only to see 20 missed calls from my editor-in-chief.

I slowly go out of the room and walk going to the kitchen to prepare a breakfast. I remember that Salvatore did not buy any groceries, yet that is why he ordered a food last night.

But I am used in opening the fridge every morning anyway, so I still open the fridge.

To my surprise, it has some item on it. Chocolates, ice cream and other items was not there the last time that I had checked the fridge.

I fried an egg and had bread for breakfast while reading the messages.

The caps lock words and some cursed words were the sign that my editor-in-chief is furious.

This morning I had to be early so that the others won't hear her cursing at me.

I put my phone on its maximum level to hear whatever she wanted to say in her voice message only to find out that eighty percent of it was cursing me.

" Very good Hanni. For one month you manage to let her reveal her true self. " I was used talking to myself while frying my egg when I heard the chair being moved.

I turned around to see it was Salvatore.

He's massaging his temple and his hair is disheveled, different from his usual neat look.

But seeing him being like this, it was like seeing a model from a magazine in person.

He was wearing a sando shirt black with a black pajama, the tattoo at his back can be seen.

The part of the tattoo can be seen above his both collarbone and his biceps.

I cannot see the whole tattoo at his back, so I can't really figure out what is it.

" Done checking me out? " He spoke.

I avoided his gaze and off the stove, I get the pan and transfer the eggs in the plate.

I put the plate in the table and two bread just in case he likes to eat.

" I can guess that is your boss. " He said while watching me eating.

" Yeah. " I don't really like to talk to him.

" You don't like me, don't you? " He asked while leaning both arms on the table and still watching me.

I kept silent because I don't wanna ruin my morning.

" So why is she cursing at you like that? " He said while standing up and is going to the coffee maker.

" Because of you. " I murmured.

But to my surprised he heard it.

" Ah I remember you told me you were busy yesterday. Is that because of it? " He asked.

I kept silent.

I don't know why he's being good to me this morning, but I don't want to put my guard down around him.

He was like a ticking bomb that at the moment he can 'boom!'.

" Do you want me to teach her a lesson? How about kidnapping one of her family member? " He asked casually.

" No! " I literally shouted and stand up.

He looked at me.

" Geez. Why are you even shouting early in the morning? " He asked in confusion as if I'm the one being abnormal.

I sit down again slowly and breathe hoping that he's just joking.

I am startled when he put the tea in front of me.

He was standing behind me, and I am waiting for his next action after him putting down a tea in front of me.

I was imagining things like he would strangle me or stab me with a knife since he's a psycho bastard.

I can smell the ginger tea in front of me, and I'm really confused why would he give me ?

Maybe there's a poison in it?

He walked again and sit in front of me.

" Coffee is not good for you. " He said.

I just nodded and pretended to smile.

" Is it good? " He asked pointing at my fried eggs.

I nodded not wanting to talk to him.
