Chapter 4 The war begins

I woke up feeling light-headed and weak due to the event that happened yesterday. I managed to get to my feet only to find Lydia and Ylva rushing into the room panting " My lady you need to get up, we are under attack" I jumped up after hearing the word attack.

Asmodeus walked into the room with his God made armor and bowed" The king has instructed that I take both his wives to their home kingdoms". I stood up hastily almost loosing my balance and followed behind the angel silently.

We came to a stop when we reached a red door and he immediately talked to the woman inside and she got up and asked after the king but he couldn't answer. Asmodeus walked out of the room with a stunning blonde hair lady" Hi, I'm Kiara the King's first wife and the Queen of this kingdom" she said reaching her hand out for a hand shake.

I shaked her hand and said " Nyx nice to meet you" she immediately withdrew her hand and her eyes went from blue to devastating fiery red " A witch?,Carson married a witch?" She said with both disgust and disappointment in her voice " Do you have a problem with that" I said trying to make out a reason why she suddenly felt disgusted" I guess you know the history of wars that have broken out between our kind?" She asked waiting for me to catch up which I did eventually " Oh so you're a demon. I guess the king won't be mad if I did this".

Using my magic, I suddenly pushed her back into the room and she flew and landed squarely supporting herself with her claws and she jumped back at me with her claws and almost scratch my face but was held back by Asmodeus who was getting tired of the unreasonable argument" Ladies stop please this is not advisable at this time" as he was talking an army of men started charging toward us" Ladies I think you could us those powers of yours to good work" he said as he released his silver colored wings" Way ahead of you" Kiara said charging towards them but was surprised as I put them all to sleep with one wave of my hand" See this is why we hate you guys so much, you always ruin all the fun" she said annoyed" Stop killing humans" I said glaring hard at her. " Let's get going" desy said snapping both of us out of our angry stare match.

As we made our way out, we came across Carson and kiara wasted no time and ran enveloping him in her arms" I'm okay wife, you don't have to worry"he said reassuring her before turning to Desy" those were from Gatrish, they were here for the Princess but my men intervened and failed unfortunately." I'm very fine thank you your majesty" I said smiling" I can see that wife,thanks for the help Desy" he said with a satisfied look on his face" Oh don't thank me Carsy, you married two incredibly strong women.

I just have one question that's bothering me, why would you get married to arch enemies" he said sending Carson a questioning look" We might have to discuss that later because the men asleep are waking up and the men outside are struggling to enter the Palace" he said gripping his sword before removing it from its stealth" These men are not going to make it out and I cannot put all of them to sleep" I said thinking of what else to do" Don't worry there's always another way to fight" said Kiara with that deadly look in her eyes. Soon enough the men pushed the big wooden door and started charging towards us while the sleeping men woke up and started charging towards us from both sides.

I started panicking not wanting to kill anyone and not wanting anyone to die but then Kiara said" It's either them or You" I listened and got ready to fight. Carson and Kiara fought the men coming from the left killing relentlessly while Asmodeus and I fought the men who I managed to put to sleep but didn't kill anyone of them only disfiguring some of them.

After about thirty minutes of fighting hundreds of men, we got tired and all leaned against the wall breathing heavily" Now you see why I married both of them. And with you at my side, we can face any threat coming our way" Carson spoke finally breaking the silence.

After resting, Carson called the guards to clean up before taking me to my chamber," Are you feeling okay?" He asked worriedly and I just nodded feeling like if I tell him he'll be more worried than this So I lied and he let it off and left before going to see Kiara. I ripped my bloody clothes off my body and sprang into the bathtub and layed there letting the water cool me" You know you shouldn't be doing that at this time" Desy spoke out from the shadows and I jumped out of my skin" What in God's name are you doing here" I asked bringing my knees up to my chest and wrapping my hands around it" Carson said I should tell you to get ready, we're leaving the Palace for a while" he said his eyes still lingering all over me" Thanks for the information Desy, you can leave" I smiled fakely trying to hide my anger.

He left and I immediately sealed the room shut with my powers. After getting dressed, I layed down on my bed and tried to relax before someone suddenly touched my shoulder" I thought I told you something before I left" Desy said after i stood up startled" Yes you did and that doesn't give you the right to enter my room like that I don't like it" I said clearly annoyed.

"Well sorry my lady" he said sarcastically and smiled, I shot him a hard glare and he didn't seem to be affected, I even tried using my powers to make him bend his knee and beg for forgiveness but he just stood there and looked back at me like I was making a fool of myself" Those tricks don't work on me well at least not anymore" he said and turned his back and walked toward the door and opened it" I sealed those doors shut and you just opened it as if nothing was added to it" I said totally confused at what I was seeing" Like I said those little trick of yours can't hold me back and stop me from doing what I was sent to do" he said and walked out and closed it behind him, still confused I layed down and let myself drift into a deep slumber.
