The other women beside the said girl quickly closed their ears by putting their hands on them and shut their eyes tightly. They were worried for the said person as well but they feared of being deaf as well.

*The young lady wailed again in a crying tone.* 폐하께서는 지금이라면 언제든지 여기에 계실 것입니다! [His Majesty would be here anytime now!]

Her voice was shaking a little, clearly explaining how afraid she was.

오빠, 샤샤의 머리가 잘리는 걸 원치 않으시면 일어나세요, 부탁드려요! [Oppa if you do not want shasha's head to cut off then wake up, pleasee!] *The girl named shasha cried out, trying to wake the dead fish by shaking him.*

The aforementioned man just hummed and pulled the sheets above his head to block any sunlight from falling on his pretty round face and disturbing his sleep. He could hear a female voice—an annoying duck trying to disturb his precious sleep. He could not understand what they were saying, but he just knew they did not have any other work then to disturb innocent people.

*Again she tried.* 일어나세요, 전하! 오늘 무슨 일이야!? [Please wake up, Your highness! What's going on today!?] *She said in confusion.*

다른 사람들은 이미 황제를 맞이하러 나갔습니다! [Others have already gone out to greet the Emperor!] *She said in a hushed tone like making him aware, but the man did not budge instead just rolled to the other side of the bed.*

Shasha gasped in disbelief and walked towards the other side as well and snatched the sheets above him and spoke again in a loud voice near his ear.

폐하께서는 여러분이 아침 식사를 함께 하지 않고 나무늘보처럼 잠자는 것을 보고 기뻐하지 않으실 겁니다!! [His Majesty will not be pleased to see you sleeping like sloths instead of having breakfast together!!]

She shouted on top of her lungs and backed away when the dead fish squirmed, getting his consciousness and sat up on the bed in a snap.

*He frowned and tried to glare at her with half opened eyes and a soft small pout on his lips.*

Hahh, what's wrong with you girl!!? Why are you trying to wake me up? Don't you know I stayed up till 4am just to read that bullshit of a novel and wasted my time!? Let me rest!

He blabbered out in a stern deep voice trying to look intimidating—according to him. But, it was anything but deep. The voice came out in a soft complaining manner and the huge pout on his squishy face did not help either. He was looking anything but scary. His soft features and the small pout did not leave a chance to make everyone softly smile at him, forgetting about the disaster or a certain wild tiger.

But it did not last longer when they processed his words—process? Wait a minute—what is he saying? The soft smiles immediately turned into a frown of confusion as they stared at him with a questioning look.

But, shasha did not care. She walked forward with a soft smile and began.* 아, 맙소사! 무슨 일 생긴 줄 알았는데 오늘은 꼭 죽을 것 같아. [Oh, thank goodness! I thought something happened to you, and I'm definitely going to die today.]

The man frowned more hearing that and tried to open his eyes clearing the view, his voice widened like a saucer when he looked at the girl in bewilderment. Who is she? How did she get into his room? He looked around and—Oh, no, wait—whose room is this!? How did he end up here? He was in his room, he clearly remembers it.

The chamber was designed beautifully. Though Nathan was still worried and flabbergasted about how he came here, he could not help but just admire it. He loved it. So, he got up and started exploring the chamber. He found a mirror placed on the left side of the bed and a table in front of it with a seat to sit and get ready. A few of the accessories like hair pins, hair sticks or a few pieces of jewelry were placed, probably for the day.

He sat there and started to look at the accessories to find something useful for himself. But all he could find were the hair pins or jewelry which looked too girly to him. He disgustingly looked up and… till now he did not yet notice himself in the mirror, but now as he did… he screamed, loud in horror. Who was being so comfortable and exploring the chamber?

The maids got worried, and quickly ran towards him. It was shocking for them to witness the third consort behaving out of his character today and it was scaring them to the core. They knew if the emperor got to know about it then they are dead meat for sure.

Without wasting a second they all gathered around him and spoke one by one.

Han Moon-sun ~ Ó [Maiden]

She took a step towards him carefully with a concerned look, her eyes soft and lips jutted downward.

She started with a softer tone and placed a hand on his shoulder, but before she could complete a loud yell could be heard with a crying afterwards.

HOW THE FUCK DID MY HAIRS GROW THIS LONG IN JUST ONE NIGHT!? *The third consort yelled on top of his lungs, flailing his hands in the air like a mad person. He could not believe it. How?*

Jungkook aka Nathan was left alone to think about his life decisions. The chamber was completely empty, and he was sitting on the bed holding his head in his hands, his elbows on his thighs. He was not able to decipher how he ended up here. He did not come here on his own, and for sure he does not sleepwalk at all! Then what could be wrong? Did they kidnap him? The thought crossed his mind and he gasped loudly smacking his palm on his lips dramatically.

He was behaving weird. It was not like him. It was not his style, not his way. And he could feel weakness as well. He noticed it all, he noticed himself looking pale and a sick person. But, till night he was fit and fine with a buff body. Then what could go wrong?

He was busy contemplating his own thoughts, it was messing his brain badly that his head started to hurt. And he could not take it anymore as he groaned loudly before throwing himself on the bed.

Ugh! What's wrong with me? Why am I behaving like this? So loud… and dramatic. This is not me. *He sighed loudly and massaged his temples.*

A knock was heard in between his blabberings making his voice muffled behind. He frowned and was about to say something, but before he could, the previous little girl with a few more entered and there was another unfamiliar lady behind them. Seems like they brought another one with them.

Jungkook just rolled his eyes at this and stayed at his place stubbornly. He did not look at them, pretty well ignoring them. But, the maids did not care. They were more worried about his health, so they made their way towards him.

*Shasha, the little girl sat beside him and asked softly.* 오빠, 지금 기분이 어때요? [How are you feeling now, oppa?]

Hmm? *Jungkook's eyebrows were knitted.*

He was not used to such soft gestures and warmth from anyone other than his mother, so it was a bit awkward and overwhelming for him. He backed away being uncomfortable.

Shasha just sighed and looked at the lady, a maid had called her here and now shasha also wanted her to have a look at him.

Shasha nodded and got up from the bed giving physician han her way towards Nathan, who was looking at everything with a confused face. But seeing physician han moving towards him, he crawled back on the bed, his back touched the board, he stared at the lady with wide eyes as she came and bowed to him before mumbling a small greeting politely.

Before he could even process, his wrist was held by the lady who examined her by checking his vein, pressing on it and then lifted his robe a bit upwards from his arm and examined the red spots… oh, she was looking at red spots.

Wait- what? Red spots? Jungkook looked at it horrified, his body froze. Is he seeing it clearly? What the actual fúck was happening.

He clearly remembers not having these marks on his body. Then how in one night did he suddenly get this bad allergy? Some fading nail marks were also there, it seems like someone scratched it badly. It looked painful that it made him shiver just thinking about it.

What is he missing? He was fine till last night. Is he still dreaming? But this dream seems too real to be just an illusion. Something doesn't seem right, there's a loophole he isn't able to point out. Something is out of place. How did he suddenly end up in this room? He slept in his apartment's room last night, he clearly remembers it.

The thoughts consumed his mind. A lot of questions but there was no one to answer them. He felt a headache arising from stress and anxiety.

*Physician Han pulled on his collar and removed it softly from his shoulder to examine it as well and then smiled.*

*She nodded almost immediately, her eyebrows furrowed, and she held onto physician han's hand taking her to a side.*

*She looked at her seriously.*

She spoke in a hushed tone, almost a whisper that if Physician han hadn't stood close to her she wouldn't have been able to hear her.

Physician Han's voice was also soft as she explained to her, the possibilities of the culprit from outside are higher because she couldn't trace a single suspect from the palace. But shasha wasn't ready to listen to her. She believed that it was someone from inside, someone closer who had access to them with ease.

She didn't complete her sentence, she didn't need to. She knew Shasha understood her words. She saw how the little girl stumbled backward, and her eyes welled up with unshed tears, but she couldn't do anything. It wasn't in her hands.

He was frozen in his place first by seeing those painful marks and then the act of the lady left him in a dilemma. He looked like a homeless person, his hair was disheveled, the robe slightly moved from his shoulder settled loose, and the fact that he had just woken up and did not even freshen up, did not help at all.

She explained what she heard on her way back to the chamber. She was concerned that the emperor might get mad at him then he already was, but Jungkook just frowned not— wait— he was able to understand her words. How?

Hena was about to say something, but rim-sook didn't let her, she dragged her out of the chamber with her, not before bowing to the third consort. She was relieved that they were out of there.
