"You have a...?" Whiskers said expecting him to finish his words.

"Never mind, umm who are you...?" Ryan asked.

"Whiskers....that's what everyone seems to call me." Whiskers answered.

"Wait, you're the cat!" Ryan said shocked.

"Kinda." Whiskers replied.

"Well I don't have a girlfriend anymore. So can you be my girlfriend, you're very pretty and my friends will think I'm a loser if I stay single." Ryan said.

Whiskers was surprised but agreed.

The next week,

Seth, one of Ryan's friends saw him waiting outside his apartment, as if waiting for someone. "Hay dude, expecting someone?"

"Oh, just my girlfriend. She's getting ready, you know how girls are." Ryan replied.

"Didn't you and Jessica(Ryan's ex-girlfriend) break up last week?" Seth asked.

"Yeah, and I moved on." Ryan said, just then the door opened to reveal Whiskers, in a beautiful white dress. Since Whiskers was still practically Ryan's cat he changed her name to Ruby as it sounded more human like.

Seth's eyes widens on seeing the beautiful girl in front of him. Her blue hair falling over her shoulders, her golden eyes growing in the sunlight. He asked if they'd like to hang out with the rest of the group. Ryan agreed.

That afternoon,

The group consisting of Jessica and her boyfriend Liam, Carlos and his girlfriend Lisa, and the two single ones Seth and Roy. As they were waiting for Ryan and Ruby to show up....

"I wonder what girl he settled for." Jessica said mockingly.

"Now, now, Jessica. I've seen that girl myself and trust me she is gorgeous." Seth said.

"Well I, for one, am excited to meet her." said Lisa.

Just then Ryan and Ruby arrived, and they all looked shocked on seeing Ruby, it felt like they were seeing some fairy tale princess.

"Wow bro, where did you find this goddess?" Roy said to Ryan.

"None of your business creep." Ryan replied.

"W-wow you moved on fast, huh?" Jessica said, words getting stuck in her throat.

"So did you." Ryan told her, eyeing Liam.

"Well…well-" Jessica muttered.

"Save it, come on Ruby." Ryan said coldly, as he walked away followed by Ruby.

"Damn...." Carlos muttered under his breath.
