At class aurora was looking outside the window
When suddenly her professor called her name angrily
"Aurora's eyes snapped back to the classroom, her face flushing with embarrassment. 'Yes, Professor?' she stammered.
Professor Thompson's expression was stern. 'Miss Aurora, I've asked you a question about last week's material. Can you tell me the difference between...'
Aurora's mind went blank. She hadn't been paying attention, lost in her thoughts Aurora's face flushed with embarrassment as she struggled to recall the answer. "I... I'm sorry, Professor. I was... uh... studying, but I guess it didn't stick."
Professor Thompson sighed. "Aurora, you're a bright student, but your lack of focus is concerning. Please see me after class."
The class murmured, and Jasmine shot Aurora a supportive glance.
As the class continued, Aurora's mind wandered, worrying about her meeting with Professor Thompson. She jotted down notes absent-mindedly, her hand shaking slightly as she wrote.
When the bell rang, signaling the end of class, Aurora gathered her things and approached Professor Thompson's desk.
"Aurora, please have a seat," he said, his expression softening.
Aurora sat down, bracing herself for criticism.
Professor Thompson leaned forward, his expression concerned. "Aurora, I've noticed you've been struggling lately. Is everything okay? You're one of my top students, but your recent performances have been... concerning."
Aurora looked down, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry, Professor. I'll start focusing again."
Professor Thompson nodded, a small smile on his face. "I expect great things from you, Aurora. Let's see you get back on track."
Aurora nodded, feeling a sense of determination. She left Professor Thompson's office with a renewed sense of purpose, deciding to put her best foot forward.
As she walked out, she bumped into Jasmine, who was waiting for her. "Hey, how did it go?" Jasmine asked, concern etched on her face.
Aurora smiled weakly. "It was fine, Jazz. He just wanted to talk about my grades. I'll try to do better."
Jasmine nodded, but her eyes sparkled with curiosity. "You know I'm here for you, right? If you ever need to talk..."
Aurora appreciated Jasmine's concern,
Aurora and Jasmine walked side by side, chatting about their day. "Want to grab lunch together?" Jasmine asked, nodding toward the cafeteria.
As Aurora and Jasmine headed to the canteen, Aurora accidentally bumped into a tall, muscular guy, spilling her bag's contents onto the floor.
"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" Aurora exclaimed, bending down to gather her belongings.
As Aurora looked up, their eyes met,
"Finally found ya," he said, his deep voice sending a flutter through her chest.
