New Winds University

CHAPTER ONE: 𝒩𝑒𝓌 𝒲𝒾𝓃𝒹𝓈 𝒰𝓃𝒾𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓈𝒾𝓉𝓎

Dear Journal, It’s my first day at New Winds University, It is honestly like a fairy tale, It is on earth if you were gonna ask, But in a far away land called Magix where you only can have an invite to go here, it tells you every thing about the place on the invite letter, But some how my parents are letting me go here because my great grandma went to New Winds now she is the head of the university so I will get to see her for the first time, which is gonna either be really awkward or go really well hopefully it goes well…

Lissa is in a limo with all of her stuff in a move in truck behind her, Her great grandma insisted she came to her first day in a limo, But Lissa was having a good time until she was utterly astounded whenever the limo started to fly into the waterfall ahead “Number one why are we flying, Number two why are we flying into a waterfall that goes straight into a mountain?!” Said Lissa in distress, It was actually a secret passage way into Magix and New Wind University, their was a secret magical realm on earth with just as magical creatures and powers “ Woah” Lissa says with a sigh of relief, “All of cars fly here in magix you got a lot of getting used to” the limo driver says “what other non-earth earth things happen in magix?” Lissa says cheerful “more than you can imagine..but we are about at New Winds University hang tight!” The limo driver says while dropping from the sky falling to the ground Lissa screams with terror and exhilaration falling to the ground as if her life was about to end, the limo driver drops a rainbow parachute and they land safely and softly to the ground like a cloud.

“Thank you sir!” Lissa says while getting out of the limo to see the university, it is the most ginormous building in magix bigger than 5 castles put together it looks like a giant castle with a massive land area including a river outside that goes into the building for the mermaids and mermen, It is truly something in a dream some would say. “Come on let’s get her stuff to her dorm guys” the move in truck person said. “Oh you don’t have to I can get all of my stuff myself!” Lissa says walking up to them picking up boxes but her pink simple but cute dress gets caught underneath one of the boxes that the truck driver just sat down for her. while Lissa is struggling to get her dress unstuck, the truck driver takes all of her stuff out then leaves along with the limo driver, but then someone came over to help her “here you go! wow you seem to have a lot of stuff your moving, in I’m Elena!” She says helping Lissa carry some of her boxes “thank you so much! im a new freshman here at the university if it wasn’t obvious, also I’m Lis-“ trumpets start playing then coming out of the university’s door is a full sized band then someone is walking out holding a scroll “Our head mistress is proud to introduce Melissa Smith to New Winds University of Magic! Everyone welcome our new student when you see her and make sure you help her when needed, we all know what it’s like to be a freshman at this school!” Everyone laughs but Lissa is flushed she was not expecting anything like that to happen everyone goes back to what they were doing. “So does everyone get a big introduction like that here” Lissa says to Elena while both of them are walking inside “ Nope, just you it’s because of the head mistress she’s your grandmother right?” Elena says. “Well that’s embarrassing so I guess everyone knows that?and also apparently she’s my great grandmother I think.” Lissa says following Elena to the dormitory “Wow great grandma she still looks like she would be in her 30s and I found your dorm it says Melissa smith on dorm number 108, do you have your key yet?” Elena says with excitement “ No I don’t and was I supposed to get a map of this place it’s ginormous.” Lissa says confused the head mistress walks up to Lissa “Welcome to New Winds University of Magic Melissa I haven’t seen you since the day you were born but gosh look how big you have grown! And I see you have met Elena Martens she is a wonderful student to be around she’s a light fairy you know!”

She says giving Lissa a hug “Are you my great grandmother?” Lissa says with confusion “yes dear! Oh you have my check bones you’re so gorgeous!” She states. “ Sorry I’m just a little confused because you look so young” Lissa says still confused. “Oh I put a spell on myself to look young forever that’s why!” The head mistress says handing out a map and a key to Lissa “thank you so much for these and wow you gotta put that spell on me!” Lissa says jokingly.
