(excited):
"YES! I told you the goblins were real! There were claw marks behind the barn!"
"I heard Uncle Theo say a real adventurer party fought them off at the woods near the ridge!"

"Goblins at the edge of the village… during the festival? That’s scary…" 😟

(Quietly):
"They say one of the adventurers got hurt protecting a child. But they still won."
"Four of them. Blades and spells like wind and fire."

An adventurer party…

"They look so cool… That one with the silver cloak that’s Ledo the Flame-Walker!"

"His grimoire’s from the Grand Isles… You don’t get one of those unless you pass the Five-Sigil Trial."
Lisa
"The one with twin daggers winked at me!!"
Lynn
"They risked their lives… and protected the village. Without even being asked."

Adventurers Are So Cool
[Scene Shift – Back Hill, Sunset – The five kids sit on the rocks watching the stars come out]

(Clenching fists):
"I want to be like them."
"I want to protect this place our place with everything I’ve got."
Alina
"We’d need training. Books. Magic lessons. Weapons."
Lynn
"And courage. Goblins aren’t jokes."
Glenn
(after a pause):
"...Then let’s start small."
"One day… we’ll have our own party."
"We’ll go on adventures. We’ll protect people. And no one will look down on us."
