King Alaric (MC)

[In the throne room] Lady Isolde, have you heard the latest news from Vespera? King Cedric is amassing troops near the border. It seems his ambitions grow bolder by the day.

Lady Isolde (mc trusted advisor)

[Nodding slowly] Yes, Your Majesty. The whispers in the court speak of a potential invasion. We must prepare ourselves.

King Alaric (MC)

[Frowning] Prepare? We’ve been preparing for years! I will not let Cedric take what is rightfully ours. He seeks to expand his territory at our expense.

Lady Isolde (mc trusted advisor)

[Gently] I understand your anger, Alaric. But perhaps it’s time to consider diplomacy rather than war. There may be a way to resolve this without bloodshed.

King Alaric (MC)

[Sighing] Diplomacy? With him? I know Cedric all too well; he plays games with people’s lives. He would stab us in the back the moment we lower our guard

Lady Isolde (mc trusted advisor)

[Thoughtful] True, but sometimes understanding one’s enemy can reveal hidden strengths. What if you were to invite him for a parley?

King Alaric (MC)

[Shaking his head] A parley? You want me to sit across a table from that snake? What would I even say?

Lady Isolde (mc trusted advisor)

[Smiling slightly] Perhaps you could start with a simple greeting. But remember, knowledge is power. You might learn something unexpected

King Alaric (MC)

[Reluctantly] Very well. I’ll consider it, but I do not promise civility.

In the other side

King Cedric (ML)

[In his war room] Sir Rowan, gather the men. We move at dawn

Sir Rowan (ml's knight)

[Worried] Your Majesty, are you sure this is wise? The people of Eldoria are strong, and their king is no fool

King Alaric (MC)

[Smirking] That’s exactly why we must strike first. Alaric’s pride will lead to his downfall. He thinks he can intimidate me with his bravado

Sir Rowan (ml's knight)

[Frustrated] But if we attack, we risk war. Have you considered negotiating instead?

King Cedric (ML)

[Scoffing] Negotiate? With him? Alaric would never agree to anything that doesn’t serve his interests. This is a game of power, Rowan, and I intend to win.

Sir Rowan (ml's knight)

[Sighing] I fear this path will only lead to destruction. We could lose everything.

King Cedric (ML)

[Determined] Not if we’re smart about it. I’ll send word to Alaric requesting a meeting. Let him think he has the upper hand.

Sir Rowan (ml's knight)

[Reluctantly] Very well, my king. But please, tread carefully.




