This brings up a question I was always wondering are mer-people mammals or are they a type of fish, that resembles a human? and if they are mammals, why do they have scales, and why can they breathe underwater? . . . Sorry for rambling. it’s just, seeing the Wet Sea Demon breast-feeding, makes me think that he’s a mammal. but he can breathe underwater, so he can’t be a mammal. And I was wondering, since he can breast-feed, does that mean that both male and female mer-people can give birth? and if they can, are they hermaphrodites? like snails. I don’t know. I need help with this. . . None of the mythology I have read says anything About this topic.😅
