Lucas POV

I'm Lucas Blackthorn twenty eight years old I'm the leader of the most dangerous mafia in Iceland it's a family dynamic ever since I was a child I was cold, reserves, only open up around people I really care about but I am a gentleman but when I was twenty three this girl entered my life and turn it upside down without even doing anything or knowing it Talia Spark the one girl that make it pass all my defences to my mind and heart without even knowing it but I don't let it show I tried to convince my mother to not hire her but she did so I always be rude or make snarky comments towards her or we both throw around slide remarks at each other but my obsession with her is very huge although I don't like to admit it since I met her I wanted her and I start to find out everything about her what she likes, dislikes, allergic to, her sicknesses, her family life, friends, who she cares about the most literally everything about her I even start calling her baby girl and everytime she tells me to stop I just say her name is too hard to remember but it isn't I could say it all day but I like calling her the nickname without she knowing why and since I took over the mafia my mother forced me to make her my assistant so it make it really hard to ignore the fact that I want her but I do my best to ignore it today she wasn't focusing.

I walk up behind her putting my hands on her shoulders and whisper in her ear "something wrong baby girl? you're not really focusing."

She swallow hard and I almost lose all my self control but I contain my desires while she said "it's none of your business and don't act like you care." That hurt but I can't blame her I haven't given her a reason to think I would care.

I sigh and said "I do when it concerns work now it's either you tell me or I find out. "

She sigh heavily I could literally feel how her body react when she's breathing because I didn't take my hands off her shoulders yet she just answered with "sorry that I wasn't focusing but my parents arranged a stupid marriage for me without even asking me if I wanted to marry someone. "

I froze my anger was boiling I just take my hand off her shoulders and said "take the rest of the day off." She nod and get her stuff and leave.

As soon as she's gone I lost my temper and threw my laptop against the wall I didn't able see her right now it's nothing against her I still see her as the most beautiful, lovely, sweet, innocent person ever but if I continued to see her sad face in that moment I might just kill her parents and that bastard that think he could have her I threw a bunch of other stuff at the walls and ground I know with the commotion in here all my employees would be on edge but I don't care at that moment I just want her to be happy and safe if she wanted that marriage I would be angry but accepted it because it was her decision but it wasn't and that what made me so angry I leave early and just tell Jason one out of my four closet friends to get someone to clean my office and I went home I needed to be out of there as I reach I slam the door behind me close and grab the whisky bottle and pour a a large glass and sit down on the couch processing my thoughts.
