A Sad Ending To My Happy Day.

I rush to get the first aid box. While I was searching for the box I saw something mysterious (blue glowing light) from the other half of the library to which I was not allowed. Papa Tom, where is the first aid box while ignoring the glowing light.

Aaah… daughter it is in the left cabinet behind the study table. I grabbed the box and rushed toward him. After giving him the aid he said, I'm feeling sleepy and want some rest, you don't worry, sweetheart. He went asleep just in a few minutes. I was curious about the glowing light from the library ,so I went to see what was going on. There was nothing, only the deep darkness and silence. I bought a candle to see what is in the darkness. There were some dusty shelves and spider webs.

There were three cabinets and bundles of some old books on which layers of dust were present. I was feeling nervous and I felt like someone was watching me. The deep darkness and pin drop silence, the only voice I could hear was the gushing of wind and the banging of the kitchen door. All I could see was old books everywhere.

My brain stopped working and I was in confusion. Firstly Why did Papa Tom stopped me from coming to this area and Secondly that glowing light. I turned toward the right cabinet and all I saw was dusty papers and books. I turned left, oh what the f? My eyes just stopped on one book , it was huge, a strange pattern and a stone on which dust was present.

Which stone is this? A blue colour, when I rubbed my finger on it...hmm Sapphire💎 holy moly🤪…. oh no how can such a book be in this dark place.

Aaaaaachuuuu🤧, I sneezed. This area was in need of cleaning I thought as I moved ahead.

Chee chee chee, a suspicious sound.OMG, What was that ? I was thinking in my head. It was a frequent sound which made me even more scared. I am not going to leave before I see what it is (thoughts in head). Alice you are brave, come on you can do this. Yes!!! I am a brave girl. I can see what it is, I stepped ahead and saw a tail of rat. My adrenaline rushed and I didnt know how I ran outside. On my God. I had to clean this area tomorrow.

I went to the kitchen, I noticed that food items were about to finish. Aaah, how Papa Tom lived here, all alone for so many years. What should I cook for him? No meat, no Chicken, No eggs and wood for fire was also about to finish. I hardly managed to cook some vegetable soup for him. I went to him, he had his dinner and slept again. I came back to my room after doing dishes and were planning what to do tommorow. When I was going back I heard someone but then I just ignored it and rushed to my room and locked the door.

Next morning, I got up and went near the window while praying (pleaseeee!! Sunny Day) and all I could see was snow, snow and snow everywhere. Wind was blowing and sky was covered with dark clouds. I went to Papa Tom who was still sleeping. I woke him up and went to kitchen and bought warm milk for him.

My Daugher where are you going? Papa Tom asked. Papa I am going to nearby market to bring some food and fresh fruits for you. My Pretty daughter the weather is not fine and you are unaware of the roads. You will get lost easily dear. Wait till I feel fine, I will accompany you dear. No papa I have to go ..... you better take rest, I have taken some money from the study table box. I felt sad that I am useless and a burden to him.

I wore my Black coat on my red sweater and left the home. All I could see was white blanket of snow, I moved ahead and started my journey. After almost 15-20 minutes of walking I reached market, a small market but very colourful. Kids were playing, the vendor shouting. Young ladies buying flowers. Young boys definitely staring them and few were playing chess. I went to a fruit shop. An old lady asked, Pretty Girl what fruit do you want? Are you new here? I haven't seen you before. I replied Auntie, yes I am new here and I live in library near in forest. She seemed shocked or blank. I bought some fresh fruits, chickens and some essential spices.

I was jumping, walking, giggling and makes faces toward kids. A happy day after so many days. I crossed a wooden bridge that separate town from forest. I walked few miles and felt someone is following me. I incresed my walking speed and I heard wolf howling near me.

My heart skipped a beat. Oh No!! Wolfff, a sad ending to my happy day.

I started running and I could hear the running steps( probably the wolf or something else near me). I was running , breathless, scared and helpless. Suddenly a blue flash made me blind .......Omg
