dust with addiction

As I step into your room*..feels dusty but still smelling like like u...*I walk in, breathing in the essence of you, and whisper, "Baby, come back soon, can you?"

I open your closet, and a wave of nostalgia washes over me. Your pretty dresses hang there, but without you wearing them, they seem like just pieces of fabric. I chuckle, remembering the time I accidentally dropped ice cream on your sleeve. You surprised me by giving me those adorable sad puppy eyes instead of scolding me.

As I walk to the corner of the room, I slide down against the wall, feeling a mix of emotions.*.."You fidget with the edge of my shirt, the one you bought me when we were struggling to make ends meet. Your eyes well up with tears, and I'm overwhelmed with love for you."

I take out the hoodie you wore*..."the cheapest one we ever bought because we couldn't afford anything else. But to you, it was treasure...*I sniff it, trying to find a hint of you in its fabric. Even after a year, it still looking new.

I'm wrapping myself in the softness of your worn hoodie, feeling the familiar comfort of your scent enveloping me. Tears prick at the corners of my eyes as I breathe in deeply, imagining your presence around me. The fabric seems to hold the essence of you, and I'm lost in the memories we've shared.

As I snuggle deeper into the hoodie, my throat constricts with emotion. Thoughts of you swirl in my mind, making it hard to breathe. My heart aches with the weight of my feelings, and I feel like I'm drowning in the sea of my own emotions.

I try to scream, to let it all out, but my voice catches in my throat. I'm trapped in this whirlpool of thoughts, and the only thing that keeps me grounded is the knowledge that it's all about you. The realization that I'll never raise my voice when it comes to you is a bittersweet comfort. It's a reminder that my love for you is a sanctuary, a place where I can be vulnerable and true.

I bury my face in the hoodie, feeling my legs tremble with emotion. The memories come flooding back, and I'm lost in the love we share.

The kitten's antics are a bittersweet reminder of you. Its tiny face scrunched up in a fierce expression is adorable, and I chuckle at the familiarity of it all. The way it plays with pillows, splashes water for no reason, and scratches me when it's mad only to lick me apologetically afterwards... it's like having a piece of you back in my life.

My voice catches in my throat as I watch the kitten's little antics. The memories come flooding back, and I'm hit with a wave of longing. I whisper, my voice barely audible, "Just come back, please." The kitten looks up at me with big, round eyes, and for a moment, I could swear it understands exactly what I'm feeling.
